Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

Besides her master recordings being held hostage? Longstanding rumors (starting from least likely to most likely)

1. Taylor is secretly a very much closeted lesbian suffering from Liberace syndrome (meaning that she can't come out as gay due to her male fanbase and her longstanding habit of turning her relationship drama into hit songs)
2. Taylor wants to get into acting and she has to bend the knee and sing the anti-life equation for the Democrats to get movie roles
3. Taylor's currently at a crossroads with her career. She's left her original label, so she's either going to have to self-release her shit at great personal expense plus pay out of pocket for touring and promotion (IE music videos) or endure unfriendly contract deals with other big time labels, who now have irrefutable proof that Taylor peaked commercially with 1989 and that Reputation underperformed and Lovers was a HUGE fucking flop that effectively killed all of the momentum Taylor has been riding on, to the point Taylor rushed out a country album to try and make a quick buck, since Lovers sold so fucking badly to refill her bank account and coffers. Which means any future deals she has will come with strings attached and demands that she sing the anti-life gospel when ordered in order to get a big front end contract with guaranteed priority promotion and a promotional budget that is the size that Taylor is accustomed to.
Taylor being in a worse situation than 2016 explains why she didn't say anything about Trump then despite the media singling her out and pressuring her, but now going full Biden endorsement.

That said, all she has to do is go back to country pop and she'll be a success again. Nobody wants to see Taylor as a 'bad girl' or diss track rap with Katie Perry, they want vapid pop tracks that get stuck in their head no matter how much they try to make fun of her over them. Trying to genre shift when her popularity was all about her genre is as dumb as a minecraft youtuber trying to transition into daily vlogger or something.

De La Soul made an anti-Trump anthem that sounds generic and lame as you can expect.

How can a classic rap group that made one of the best debut rap albums in history go from making this?

To this?

It’s insane to see old school rap artists continue to chase trends like profiting off of anti-Trump screeds, while Kanye West, Lil Wayne and Ice Cube are trying to make progress.

It only sounds bad because you're a Trumpster /sneed.

More seriously there's nothing more pathetic than an ageing revolutionary, when has an old rapper ever sounded good?

I'm pretty sure if one was true, it'd only help her at this point.
For two, she's got to give up on that. She's past her starlet sell-by. But I guess never discount pamper white girl derangement syndrome.

For three, let me again reiterate:
Daddy Swift bought a record label to make his baby girl a music star. I have an (admittedly unverified) first hand account of Big Machine being 100% Taylor, other artists getting the shaft because Taytay wanted a song, etc. The whole label existed solely to promote Taylor. Dadsy poured an ungodly amount of time and money into boosting her career, and eventually decided enough was enough and sold out, expecting that he'd given her enough of a boost she could make it on her own.
Taylor is liking getting 200,000% wrecked because she likely had everything in the name of Daddy the label, and never questioned it. When every other artist learns their lesson getting utterly turbo fucked by their initial three record deal, Taylor never experienced that and had a glorious awaking waiting for her. When the label sold, there goes her whole catalog, plus royalties and rights.

Rumors I heard go from simple greed, to some 4th Dimensional dredel game to just wanting some blonde-haired blue eyed shiksa under his thumb so he make her put on the jackboots and play Ilsa when he wants some holocaust themed roleplay.

Putting the politics aside that is one of the most low effort songs I have ever heard. Lazy lyrics over an aweful beat that sounds like it was made with a Casio keyboard.

But the conservatives afte the scary violent ones, right?
You just know if a conservative announced on public they would hunt down Biden voters and carve hammers and sickles on their foreheads, it would be treated as full proof Trump voters are evil incarnate, as is the man himself.

I can't think of any exemple either.
Or how about bands that were never political trying their hand at political shit? Remember Evanescence?

They turned anarchists into "neo-nazis" just to make a headline about Trump. That shit would be "viral marketed" and pushed as agitprop the second it happened even if it was tweeted by rose twitter.

I've heard of #1 before (as well as saw the TMZ photo that they allege is her kissing another woman) but it didn't click with me until now, regarding relationship drama and being lesbian. Lol, lesbians being #1 in DV cases fits so well now.

Also she peaked with Fearless for me, that and her first album are her best. Fite me.

Wouldn't being a lesbian help with her male fanbase? What's sexier than two women kissing?

The gun issue is -dead- for the forseeable future. A lot of people, when their backs were against the wall, found out they are VERY in favor of gun ownership.

Funny. The "backs were against the wall" line is exactly how they described the "bullied" teenage school shooters when making their gun control arguments. I'll bet if wuflu didn't happen, there'd be more dead kids and Dem cronies crying while missing the fucking point. Now there's thousands of households, most of them with teens (and blood-related bullies) in them have guns inside. And yet mass shootings aren't happening now that school is out. Almost like gun control really is about who controls the guns...

Merciful margarine, that was ass. Never thought someone heard Eminem's Trump diss track and thought they could do worse. And he didn't even have music in his!
