Staph doesn't seem to understand that under the First Amendment anyone and everyone the right to free speech. They can say whatever they want, whether it's racist or homophobic or classist or ableist or sexist or whatever. However, they also must be prepared for the consequences of free speech. You can say whatever you want, that is your right, but that doesn't protect you from criticism or the fallout. It doesn't mean everyone agrees with you or what you say is right.

It seems to have been created by Juli Grey-Owens, who looks like the same person pictured in one of the above events. The name sounds like something she brought up before but searches don't show anything. Unlike Stapphy they're apparently actually registered as a non-profit and do things. Not super interesting on their own, but it means that Staphy's "advocacy" is even worse than I thought, since she's not even finding her own content to share.

She has no job and has never held any type of job for a full year. She's 32 and obviously isn't going to stay on her parents insurance. The only insurance she'd reasonably qualify for is medicare, which she should get automatically if she really has a disability tugboat.

And she's panicking over nothing. All her "chronic health issues" are things she can deal with without medicine by not being retarded, and she can afford the minor cost of her medication if she's retarded anyway. Sure it would suck if something bad happened and she couldn't pay for it....but she's not in a high risk group, and if she did have a medical emergency her parents would be the ones who paid for everything. Her worst-case scenario for not having health insurance is becoming an even bigger burden to her parents than she already is. She wouldn't die, have trouble with housing or food bills, or even have to get off her fat but to finally get a job. She'd just wouldn't have as much spending money since her parents might have to tighten the budget to keep her around.
