Dude, chill out. I didn't say the far-right was the biggest threat to the country, or that it would be if Biden became president. All I said was that BDS and violence would still be a thing to look out for. You do have a point about the far-Right during the Obama era, and you are right and I have to admit that I don't have answer for that.Institutional power and backing enables derangement syndromes to grow. Without it you have nothing. You're sounding like the FBI, who hand-wrings about far-right white domestic terrorism being the biggest threat to the country while Philadelphia right now is experiencing some very fun protests that have nothing to do with them.
The indicator is what the far-Right did during Obama, which is basically nothing, which I suspect you have no answer for.
I also point out the TES thread, which has almost no funny material whatsoever, which I also suspect you have no answer for, since there should be mountains of hilarious laughs to be had yet it's mostly low-key politically-driven bitching.
I will say however that a lot has changed over the years, and that it is best to just be prepared and not doing anything stupid. This year has brought out the worst in everyone, and I don't think it's wrong to expect violence on both sides, in very amounts and intensities, regardless of who wins this election.
