Hmm he's too desensitised to most attempts to "troll" him now, he's seen most of these ween attempts before.

On the other hand, how long until he gets bored of it? I mean definitely not any time soon, for sure. But if you follow the timeline of his escapism, it starts out slow with Sonic, then goes to Sonichu, then MLP, now dimensions. They all had varying levels of either escapism or community. Sonichu was his original vein, egotistical way to create a community around Sonic, seeing something he liked and trying to claim it as his own by hijacking it, going as far as to expect Nintendo and Sega to owe him for improving their idea. As he began to rot from age and isolation settled in, he got into MLP because of it's massive, accepting community. Now the Merge is Sonichu 2, to a whole new level. Now he's taking MLP, along with a mishmash of every other IP he likes for good measure, and just mixing it up into his own original thing that he expects to become more popular than it's source material. This time it's not just a comic, but an entire religion, since Chris is aging and become more weary of his mortality and circumstances. Will he stick with the Merge until he croaks? Maybe. But I don't see him sticking with it forever. Eventually, he'll get bored, realize it's not doing anything for his circumstances or isolation, and go on to something else. Just like he did Sonichu. Don't conflate Sonichu with the Merge, just because the Merge incorporates Sonichu doesn't mean it's the same thing in spirit, remember Sonichu was his dream of a multimedia empire, the Merge is an entire religion.

My guess is a new show or whatever will eventually come along and Chris will get obsessed with it and it’s fandom and the merge will just be in the background.

Chris has never really cared what people said or did, not since the really early years of his infamy. Chris only really cares if you're withholding something from him, then he'll chimp out endlessly. He only cares about "trolls" when his peers want nothing to do with him, because he blames them for his own faults.

Well, that one's a bit more nuanced than just saying "you suck". Chris was obviously extremely confused about sexuality, so much so that he believes you could simply persuade someone into being gay. He was afraid of becoming gay like you'd be afraid of catching a cold. It was less of an insult to him and more of a legitimate fear of their words becoming true (as he admitted he was genuinely homophobic). This, of course, stemmed from his desire to fit in and fear of being an outcast. He was told all his life from his entire community that if you're gay then you're dead to them. Now, you see him chimping out about being blocked, which is the current analogue. If one of his peers blocks him, he'll have the same exact tantrum he had when you'd call him gay.

This is likely to happen when the Brony fandom dies down completely; Brony Analysts retire/get real jobs/start families/grow up, and the rest of the stragglers just sort of move on. The problem is that the fandom has multiple bodies of work in of itelf, hence why we get the phrase "fans of the fandom". Even though the show ended, there are still ongoing projects that are only tangentially related to MLP in the sense that it revolves around Pony OCs, but otherwise has nothing to do with the show itself. If it becomes a subset of the furry fandom where people create content themed around their ponysonas and create their own content, then it may not die off so easily. As long as there's a community, Chris will latch on to it. And he's gonna keep trying to harass these big-name bronies until there's a nationwide mandate that he's banned from all pony conventions. Shit, though. Tara Strong even fucking derided Chris on twitter. The fucking creators of the show openly told him to fuck off, and he keeps coming back for more.

Chris is lazy, he's a narcissist, a waste of fucking resources, but he's one persistent autist.

It’s going to get increasingly creepy when Chris continues to age but he keeps harassing young women more than half his age because they happen to be popular members of a fandom.

Chris reminds of the autistic guy in the documentary I Think We’re Alone Now who had a restraining order against him by 80’s pop star Tiffany because he insisted he could psychically communicate with people (In the same way Chris thinks he can travel to the cartoon dimension when he’s really just day dreaming) and decided one day to turn up at her house because in his imagination they both declared their love for each other, despite her being married (Or in a relationship, I forget).

Yeah, exactly. There's this primal/primitive mythological psychology that Chris taps into, and you can see it in his extreme concern with names, words, and how things are "labeled". Similar to the way native peoples 100+ years ago were afraid that photographs would "steal their soul", Chris was afraid that someone calling him something false would threaten to make the falseness true.

Chris ain’t no Muhammad or Buddha, that’s for sure. His idea of an afterlife seems to be pretty much: “Shuffling around, doing the exact same stuff you did when you were alive.”

Between Chris’s proclamations that “this body will live forever!” To Bob getting whisked away to CWCville and occasionally “visiting” Barb, Chris’s idea of a heaven could probably be summed up as: “Doing what you did yesterday. Just doing it forever and ever and ever.”

The thought that this would be most people’s literal idea of a hell, probably never even glanced his mind.
