Over the past few months I think Trump's chances have kinda ebbed and flowed. One week if the election were at that moment he'd win big, but the next week he'd be in trouble. But I think he's peaking at exactly the right time.

I don't wanna jinx this, but with these early voting numbers and the visible agitation from the Dems, I really feel good about this.

This mentality is why the modern left has steadily infiltrated virtually every nexus of cultural power in America and converted them to their own uses. Not picking on you personally, I just think the right needs to get into the mindset to aggressively contest everything rather than relying on progressivism's inherent ideological cancer to destroy it. Assertiveness is far preferable to passivity.

I've moved from borderline doomer to very cautious and nervous optimist. I think my doomposting was a mental defense mechanism of "I don't wanna jinx this".

After Biden went against oil, no way. Texas was relatively close in 2018 because Cruz was unpopular and O'Rourke didn't threaten the oil business.

Assuming he wins AZ/FL/NC/OH/IA (so probably), yes. In that case Biden needs WI + MI + MN + PA to win.

Yeah. I'd be happy if Trump was doing well one day, but I'd be pissed if something's up tomorrow because "Seriously? I swear Trumo can never just win one. Ever." Something's always bad for him. But you can't win them all.

I remain happy that if a civil war actually happens the worst that will happen in my area is that we'll split off to form an independent theocracy where I will be forced to give up my booze and smokes, but also get like 3 wives.
