Well according to her Skeptic got a bit more left too so I don't think that tracks although apparently not as much as she did
I enjoy long form content since it means I can just lie down and shut my eyes instead of having to click through stuff and I generally enjoyed the video although a few bits were weird.
She did an ahegao at one point which was... uncomfortable cus she's obviously been practicing, added to the fact she made a few too many jokes about OnlyFans that didn't sound entirely like jokes and the fact she sort of feels like she's never gonna get laid again thanks to the pandemic.
Another issue I had was that it seemed like at times she was trying really hard to be mad at some of the stuff she usually did but her criticisms made it feel like her heart wasn't in it, mostly with regards to the 'fascist' dress and bodyshaming although I guess she's never outright said anything anti-fat people before the effort to make the distinction and say "well yes bodyshaming fat people is bad but to say it's fascist is too far" sort of kneecapped the whole criticism.
The production quality's quite good, the alternate reality Bernie intro was amusing, and although I miss the scuffed 2007 webcam this aesthetic is quite nice too and it really felt like it came together in this video compared to previous ones where it felt like it was still developing.

Exactly. That's why it's so sad. She can't parlay her channel into something intellectual, she doesn't know enough. I honestly don't believe that shoe understands the majority views that drive the left in this nation, period. Classism, disdain for the rural and the poor is at the core of the influential left's dislike of capitalism, not the concern of the people/working class. Essentially, it is individualism in general and individualism of the rural (which they see as a negative resulting from capitalism dumbing them down) and the poor being bumps in the way of socialism, communism. The rural poor are the biggest group that is hated by the influential left.
Shoe is completely ignorant of how the left views anyone not of the liberal 'elite' of suburbia and urban (gentrified) areas. Those outside that are seen as not being worthy of any rights or defenses and being worthy of all slurs. She, like Vaush, are stepping stones for people. They are stepping stones for leftists who subscribe to such exclusionary, dehumanizing viewpoints. On top of it, the truly influential amongst the left in this nation have no idea who they are and never would associate with the two if they did.
The reality is that the modern left's influencers would much rather impoverish all of rural, small town regions across this country to nullify their votes, voices and any other contributions from them. They'd completely gentrify urban areas to uproot any individualistic, "incongruous" peoples in the way of a 'utopia'. The economic centralization that their socialism requires is about full obedience and cities provide the physical centralization that they need to more easily control populations and shut out "unworthy" voices and views. Modern leftism, socialism, communism et al is about building itself upon identity politics. Does shoe even pick up on why Hollywood is aligning with this? Why actors, actresses, entertainers, media personalities are all aligning with this and donating towards initiatives and PACs with these goals? Even neocon groups are getting in on the game. It isn't because they're concerned about helping the "little people".
Shoe doesn't seem to have the perception to pick up on this nor the evil drive that exists amongst the influential of the next generation of the modern left. The dark shadows/the evil aren't just right wing "conspiracy theories". She doesn't see that amongst the future leftist influencers, those 21 and under, that they are running on a hatred for this nation. They have been indoctrinated into believing that we deserved 9/11 and any and all ruination. Schools and older generation leftist teachers in this nation have programmed this and everything anti-American into the minds of their impressionable-minded pupils as they went through public school. Then on to the next batches of students the following school year. Essentially, the sjw-motivated educators/indoctrinators have gone far enough that even an anti-American ayatollah from Iran would see it as going too far. Anti-Americanism is what was programmed into the 21-under generation of leftists. Due to that, the drive of the upcoming left is one based in hatred, ego and not empathy, outreach and compassion. I follow Shoe from a distance and am only vaguely familiar with her and her grift so forgive me for my naivety on this subject. I'm sure that this has been spoken about ad nauseum and the conversation has become played out, but I'm interested to see if she has ever addressed any of this hypocrisy directly or even just acknowledged the double standard she maintains.
We've watched as she's really capitalized on and highlighted the existence of pedos and "MAPs" from her corner of the internet.
