Do states in the US keep count of invalid ballots? Do they keep the invalid ballots? Is there any chance of a recount by hand if there is a large disparity in Arizona because of the sharpie thing?

Pretty sure Europe has voter registration/voter ID laws just about everywhere, though. Even in the former Warsaw Pact states.
Heck, there's a bunch of third-world shitholes with better measures against election fraud.

Consider yourself extra-screwed.
Even Mexico doesn't let you vote if you don't have your ID at hand, at this point Mexican elections are more legit than the USA what a circus

- There's a better than average chance of 269 - 269 results. If that happens, the House decides who's President. That's how this works.

The House decides that via state delegates, not simple majority.

Each state where a plurality of representatives decide a candidate would be counted as a single vote out of 50 potential ones, I think the RNC had the advantage before last night and I think they still do.

Yes, and you need to show your ID and your Address card, which is checked against government records to see if you actually live there or not. Where you vote is based on your location, like a state in the US.

Yes they are required to keep them for this case specifically. There are many states that have auto recount laws if the vote is close. I expect a half dozen recounts at least. Not that it will change anything. The recount in WI 2016 netted Trump like 120 votes.

I knew this would happen with mail-in voting. You give people an opportunity to see the results and then figure out how many ballots they need to win. I'm not saying it's happening but if it were this is how it would happen. Plus it turned what it supposed to be a simple count on election day to this back and forth of found/late ballots. This is why they should've made the mail-in voting deadline 2 weeks ago. It's like they're trying to cast doubt on the validity of this election by making it this sketchy.

I don't think anyone's caring about that, lol - voters are considering wholesale causes and themselves, not individual citizens next to them; the fact Jo Jorgensen received as many votes as she did, well, it's exactly what you'd expect from an election as clusterfucked and unstable as this - I mean Jesus Christ how many libertarians did we see in the early months acting as contrarians to both sides simply because they fucking could?

Fucks' sake some of them split themselves up, put on Hawaiian shirts and went out and told BLM they were their security - the logic factor of libertarians is 90% of the time out-the-fucking-window.
I'm not a libertarian.

Actually, you raise a good point. The RNC is banking on Trump for their success. I don't think they made a plan post Trump.

That's going to hurt them long term.
Biden said he was "optimistic." I guess you can call that "declaring a soft victory" if you like.
I'll be optimistic when ANTIFA gets cracked down.
