But isn't that literally our only option at this point? None of us attempted to turn heads as prolifically as Sargon or others did. Maybe he was right when marketing that idea to Jim. Granted the platforms are far less accepting than they were in Trump's heyday but I don't think any of it abjectly justifies throwing up white flags and giving in.It's hard to fight back when they are convinced that I think AOC is a socialist because I'm buying into Trump's lies.
If they are they far gone into the woods, that seems like a point of no return. The best I can do is just keep my head down, not post on social media anymore, and just smile and nod at family gatherings.
Edit: I still remember taking to one of my friends about the BLM riots, and off handedly as I was making an argument said that "the point of a protest is to get people on your side" and he interrupted me and asked "Is it?" I feel like the left has gotten to the point where we are debating things I didn't even realize were questions anymore.
This can't be the end. If this isn't the beginning or the ignition turning on our fuel tanks then what will it be? We sat there and let Trump endure all that suffering and front for everything we believed in while going about our lives. It's what he wanted, but was it what he needed?
