Roberu and Matsuri are comedic geniuses; with Roberu I assume it comes naturally since he's a Kansai guy and is probably used to this sort of back-and-forth with his humor. He tends to be like this with everyone and it's no surprise how well-liked he is.

When news broke of Aloe's departure, Nene was inconsolable; it stands to reason that off camera they became incredibly good friends and she was heartbroken to see her go, and I think she's made mention about them all (or just her specifically) keeping in touch with Aloe. She is also the one who said that "the 5th generation will always have 5 members" and refuses to change her Twitter border because it has Aloe in it.

Unfortunately, the-entertainer-known-formerly-as-Mano-Aloe recently stated she has zero interest in working for an agency again, and has already turned down several others since her departure from Hololive. Shame since I was kinda hoping maybe after things calmed down she'd want to come out of retirement, not unlike a pro athlete....if Cover would even allow such a thing.

I also hope the other 5th Gen members (or at least Lamy and Nene, as they said they would specifically) really do keep in touch with her, she never makes a mention of it, nor do they. But, they just may want to keep it totally private. 'Aloe' still talks about the incident a fair amount, and how much it still hurts. That's why I'm continuing to support her in her current endeavor.

Do you have a source for that? last time i checked she had a private account on pixiv and uploaded her stuff there

Yes, I'm subbed to her Pixiv Fanbox and private Twitter (she just made a Fanbox-members-only Twitter last night as well). Here was part of a Q&A update she did about a week ago translated into English by her, herself - she posts all updates in JP and EN.

I feel really bad for her, but I also understand her aversion to working under an agency and wanting to strike out as an independent after everything that happened. Even if Nene doesn't talk to her as much as she would like, it is painfully obvious she still cares deeply about Aloe but I have a feeling she's supporting her on her own behind the scenes, as it were.

The problem is that if she come back the chat is going to be full of people being retards about her past identity, the impact she had as Aloe is not going to go away any time soon

I felt a weird sort of... pride I guess when she actually “Hey Guys”d us and read her plan in English and got through it all.

And I love that “Hey Guys” is now the official way to address foreigners for Hololive.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't greatly concerned about Aloe/Delutaya.

I'm sure we've all heard about her supposed family troubles, about how her mother (and herself) are sick and her father is an uncaring drunkard asshole, but I didn't know how bad it *really* was until I started following her. She just posted a series of tweets on her "members-only" Twitter that, to summarize, said-

-Her brother is in a mental institution due to the amount of times her father beat him
-Her father likes to throw their cats down the stairs, among other things
-He neglects her ailing mother and leaves it up to Delutaya herself to care for her, despite her also being ill, as I mentioned
-The police apparently won't help her and told her to call CPS/take care of the situation themselves (wtf???)

She said she wants to run away but would be scared about what he'd do to her mom if she did. Apparently she's trying to hatch a plan for them both to get out sooner rather than later...and, yes, with the cats too.

So I don't even know if shilling like this is against the rules but if you'd like to support her and want the Fanbox link (assuming you don't already know it or how to find it) to help her fund her career/life/anything else, let me know.

Anyway, sorry for the heavy shit, she was spouting all of this stuff off and I just wanted to get it off my chest and make other people aware. It's very clear why she still hurts over the whole mess. She truly believes she fucked herself over in the one shot she had to be able to get out of her miserable life and have a great career. It sucks to see.

I get the idea from various sites that she’s more than welcome to return. The problem is that iirc she was shit on super hard by JPs, with a “Look at how all these foreigners think so naively of you.” narrative about MASS and other forms of support. The toxic nijifans and antis are still there, and there’s nothing we overseas fans can do about it.

She’s the one of the only holos that no one on hlgg uses for their shitposting or falseflagging. Anyone knows how 5ch is treating her nowadays? If the hate’s died down enough she might rethink staying away.
