I was worried about civil war breaking out in America, now I'm worried about civil war breaking out on Kiwi Farms.

Started before that, with guys like George Carlin and George Hicks focusing less on being comedians, and more of being nihilistic, cynical idiots. With that, a whole generation viewing them as "modern-day philosophers" and thinking the world is hopeless and just general defeatism. It's annoying. Can't help but see it as coming from the Daily Show. Under Bush they popularized the idea that comedians being political commentators was this awesome and respectable thing rather than boring as hell in comparison to actual jokesters.
Gradually we got actual political commentators trying to act like those political comedians, then we got regular journos getting in on the act. Over time it became something that saturated most all leftist media to the point that it affected how nearly all Americans approached the news/comedy. Result was the treating of things people disagree with as being "inherently funny". You can't expect someone to engage with others they disagree with when their gut instinct is to mockingly go wow just wow as though it's the funniest thing ever for someone to be on the opposite side of the political aisle.
Then as a consequence of all that goofy shit people inevitably end up in echo chambers where all their views go even more insane.
Didn't Trump end a decade long Middle East conflict? That's not bringing the world down.
A thread like this feels like a spell's been broken.
A spell cast on the world that somehow lowered everyone's collective IQ enough to ever take Donald Trump seriously. A spell that somehow made half the country think of this idiot as a master le ebin 69d chess trolling tactician rather than a prejudiced knuckle-dragging backwards neanderthal demagogue boomer retard with dozens of failed businesses and no political experience.
A spell that, for some reason, has 48% of the country demanding said prejudiced knuckle-dragging backwards neanderthal boomer idiot be given the same respect and honor, but be free of the critique or scrutiny earned by other presidents.
After 4 years of shit, only now can we talk about Trump candidly and critically. What a fucking strong spell that was. I'm glad it ended at one term, and that people can finally wake the fuck up and face the reality that this man is a fucking walking embarrassment.
Looking back on the last 4 years makes me think I jumped the streams into a different dimension. We lived in a fucking Wizard of Oz logic world where every dumb, unprofessional or blatantly horrible thing Trump did or said was spun into a positive "BOSS" le epik shitposter moment by his fans and followers. In any sane universe, half the shit that he said and did would've tanked him immediately. Trump's fans constantly fucking overlooked, excused, twisted, and memoryholed anything bad that he ever did, both here and everywhere else, all because he made the right people mad.
Talking critical of Trump was taboo to the point where the only time I can really remember the site called him on a retarded decision was his calls to repeal 230, but only after Josh got mad about it. But it was only critique with apprehension, as opposed to the unfiltered shitting-on being done in this thread.
Trump's actions in the face of defeat only further solidify what should've been evident since 2016, him and his fanbase are overgrown mentally unstable teenagers. Storming city halls and ballot counting offices, sending bomb threats, refusing to concede to reality, diving deeper into delusion. He's not a genius, he's a mentally challenged upper-crust golden spoon rich geriatric reality tv show star who rolled a nat 20.
A Trump loss signals a slow end of this Oz era of politics, for now. I look forward to every twitter career grifter's slow and painful descent into irrelevancy and nothingness. I also look forward to 95% of A&N leaving the site for good after realizing that it's not their personal political hugbox.
Real shame that they actually have the tds tism because this shit right here seems like prime copypasta materialYou guys need to get in here, it's a fucking pure vein of top grade TDS.
They think they won the election and they STILL can't stop complaining about Trump
I just made myself laugh by realizing how many of these people, when they're on their deathbeds in 40-60 years will be pulling an RBG with their final thought being "Truuuuuuuump!"You guys need to get in here, it's a fucking pure vein of top grade TDS.

Welcome to page 3975 cataloging people talking about Trump candidly and critically, as they have been for 4 years. After 4 years of shit, only now can we talk about Trump candidly and critically.
I was in my mid-twenties when Reagan was elected. It was the same way then, but it had some limitation. The USSR was still a constant existential threat and kept the corruption in the Western world within reason. It constrained the degree of corruption in the West. The collapse of the Soviets, coupled with the virtually unfettered progression of globalist oligarchism through Bush, Clinton, Bush II, Obama has left an elite structure, pockets bulging with wallets full of blood and human misery, only stalled temprorarily by Trump. He really has been an icon for freedom, the common man, and self-destiny -- with limited intentions and success. The left should have been standing with him, but fuck that. The fake intellectual class -- the academics, the media, the professionals, the upper middle class -- have successfully brainwashed the working class through tricks of language and a "wall to wall" propagandist's zeitgeist. How is that a good thing? They already can jail you for saying something that a jew dislikes in many parts of europe. That is going to becoming here soon enough. How is that a good thing? Anti-semitism is basically just saying or doing something that jews dislike. "It's a trick we always use..."
Probably from 2000 until Trump all of them were. Who knows how many before that, but for sure the rest this century were. With Trump gone we get to swerve back to that same path of pure unbridled corruption with no real representation possible.

I thought we'd run out of content if Trump's gone, but it looks like we'll enter a whole new era of derangement. I wonder if they're going to get even angrier when they realize all the shit they blame on Trump doesn't go away.
The underclasses are starting to get desperate.

This whole fucking thread is nothing but smugness covering up asshurt over Trump, my fucking face hurts from laughing at the sheer fact that they're still so not mad that they rushed out to make a thread.
