Yeah I'm sure Donaldo would have fixed all that after his sterling performance over the last four years. Biden will do fuck all (at best) and yeah, if I was a betting man then I'd be putting money on Harris being the Next President in about three years time but how anyone can pretend that Donald Trump was some sort of political saviour is beyond me.
Exceptional party loyalty and "Us vs. Them" mentalities.
The writing was on the wall with Trump a year and a half into his presidency. He managed to piss off everyone but his base, even managing to directly insult active Armed Forces enlistees while also siphoning money from them to pay for his boondoggle of a wall.
Which is hilarious because when they caught El Chapo, they more or less were trying to tout the wall as being effective against him until he explained that he used a submarine.
Then any time Trump found himself in hot water he couldn't be bothered to have any form of decency to just own up to something, anything. Then inevitably he would get Rudy Giuliani involved, who is a fucking one-man-circus that even Fox news laughed at constantly.
He worked with Roger Stone, whose entire presence is summed up by the literal Richard Nixon tattoo on his back.
He wouldn't directly distance himself from the KKK, The Proud Boys or whomever social media was trying to tie him to, instead opting to say shit like "I don't know them, I'd need to read about them" even when people explain on-air who they are. All he had to do is say "I don't know who they are, but I do not condone segregation and white supremacists." And nothing more and Fox and OA would have showered him in praise for months.
His entire presidency was hamstrung by the company he kept and his insistence on not getting out of his own way. I'm not for or against Trump, but if he somehow manages to get a second term, he needs to seriously reconsider his image in comparison to what he expects the nation to see him as.
