They’re trying to run out the clock on Trump and solidify Biden as much as he can while making Trump look like a despot. Also, it’s never a guarantee how the judges will rule, especially with SCOTUS Justice Roberts. And then you have Trump potentially revealing how the sausage of their fixing machine and their Patriots-esque control from the shadows is revealed. They can only push through because they can’t find a way for the Trump problem to be solved quietly or cleanly.
