From a foreigner perspective, I think the "settling it in court" thing might not work. I could be talking out of my ass here since I don't really know a lot of about how shit is going to go down as the justice tries to settle this but given that if the court goes "Whoops, well. Looks like Trump won the election afterall" then there is going to be a TOTAL SHITSHOW and even worse riots than the ones before the elections.

Given how spineless most conservatives types are (politicians, not sure about the judges), they could just use the excuse of "we won't do this for the sake of keeping things cool and let people calm down" even if it means 4 years of Dems fucking up them in the ass in retaliation.

The Republicans literally can’t back down anymore. AOC and company have made it clear that now everyone that donated to Trump’s campaign, supported Trump, or is related to the Republican Party by any metric are going to be tracked down and ruined.

To punish the Republican Party for letting an outsider become President, the Democrats (namely the far left) are going to make it a physical, financial, and/or legal nightmare for even thinking about siding with a Republican ever again. Backing down now means that literally their children are condemned to poverty unless they bend the knee, which would upgrade them to the HIGH STANDARD known as almost middle class.

No to both. But I do know someone at my work who was let go in a round of layoffs.

Im happy has not suffering but he gets to stay home, smoke weed and play video games while getting paid for it (more then we was being paid) That does annoy me a bit as I'm the sucker who is still working.

Don’t personally know anyone who got paid for faking covid. And, I only know one person who actually got infected. A young and healthy woman who takes good care of herself. Fucked her up good for a couple months. She’s convinced she caught it at the grocery store.

I don't know anybody that faked it, but I know Wells Fargo should be sued.
Slight powerlevely thing, but last month I had my cousins staying with my family because my aunt caught Covid.
She works at Wells Fargo and her boss didn't set up any real rules for distancing or adequate protection. He denied that Covid was real, told his workers they were fine because it's a bank, they already have teller windows etc.
One worker got sick externally from the bank, couple other workers and aunt started feeling sick, got tested, were shown to be positive, were threatened with having their pay withheld if they took time off even with a Doctor's note.
Aunt tried to use vacation time to recover. He denied her, she went to his boss, got a month of PTO along with other sick people. Not sure about the rest but I hope they at least fired that guy.
