When you see just how little of a chance Trump really has, it's kind of hard if not impossible to see how he pulls it off. It just sort of indirectly confirms to me that they were full of shit from the start and the plan was to fix the election with all these shady ass mail in votes. At the very least, their plan was to increase turnout on their end with the lazy youth demographic.

That was the theory before the election as well, with the caveat "...but they weren't expecting Ginsburg to pop her clogs when she did." The theory was that they could steal the election with mail-in ballot shenanigans, Trump could fight it up to the Supreme Court at which point Roberts would declare 6,000,000 ballots from dead people to be a tax (or something) and side with the lefties to hand them the country on a silver platter. Except Ginsburg died and was replaced by someone who could potentially tip the balance to 5-4 Trump even when the DNC's lawyers reminded Roberts that they still had the negatives. So they started scrambling to get their real live voters out at the last minute as a contingency plan (which worked about as well as everything these geniuses try.)

And even if we don't get a happy ending to it, at least it will be more internally consistent than the shit show that was the last season of that.
