Jaron Seth Bloshinsky / Jazz Jennings / I Am Jazz - Puberty Blockers: Not Even Once

To relate this back to Jazz - he has a much older sister who he surely looked up to. An older sister that probably also loves the Little Mermaid (Disney version). Reading this thread always makes me want to hug my parents and thank them for not being insane.

Sister's name = Ari.
The Little Mermaid's name = Ariel.

I'm sure that's where the mermaid obsession comes from.

Enter Cousin Debbie, a licensed mental health counselor, who went on to get a doctorate in counseling transgender youth because of Jaron (subject in her thesis).
So, they did to Jazz exactly what Money did to those two babies, he used them as lab rat for their own gain and tried to push something rather than figure out if it was working or not.

Jazz was likely drawn to his sister because the twin boys had their own unique bond.

Just look at the Instagram photos Jazz and Sander posted for Halloween (Griffen and Ari had something up in their Stories, I believe, but it's gone now — Jeanette and Greg didn't make any Halloween posts either).

A lot of their childhood photos are like this: the twins as a unit, Jaron relying on Ari.

The name "Jazz" was inspired by Ari, as this article points out:
"When it came time to choosing her name, she looked to her big sister. Her sister portrayed Princess Jasmine in a school play. So Jennings went with the name Jazz based on the character."
(This article is, once more, a copy of the Bloshinsky's narrative as told in the books and in interviews.)

This reminds me of Corey Maison (also mentioned in this thread). He has 4 sisters, no brothers and his father obviously wasn't a good role model. In a youtube video he said the boys in his class rejected him because he was girlie and the girls didn't want to date him.

The environment where "trans" children grow up is never considered.

This leads to sad cases like Jazz and Corey. Trans celebrities on the outside - misunderstood kids on the inside.

Kids need less Disney and more scary old museum shit, I reckon.

My childhood experiences of mermaids were these awful taxidermied monkeyfrankenfish.

Ironically, they are far more comparable to the mixed primary and secondary sex characteristics exhibited by former ‘trans kids’ than Ariel is.

Whenever Susie Green or Jazz Jennings pops up in the news, these are the Mermaids I immediately think of.

It was mentioned a while back in this thread-- basically in practice, it means counselors/psychiatrists are encouraged not to push too hard, or from too many angles. There are still some who will but very, very gently. Must be incredibly frustrating when you can see the same patterns happening over and over.

It's probably higher than 41% specifically for desistors, but it's certainly not lower for TRAs. There's a lot of things you lose when you're a trans kid, to realize it might've all been for nothing is horrible.

These links are beyond awesome, thank you! I had no idea how blatant the pedo shit was. Pharmaceutical companies making bank off hormone injections are definitely part of the equation, but queer theory is holy text type shit. Gonna take me forever to think this through.

Seriously feel ill reading that, I've heard parts of it verbatim. This entire study should be required reading for parents of kids in these situations. None of these statistics surprise me at all:
  • Additionally, per parent report, almost half of the AYAs withdrew from family, 28.5% refused to speak to a parent, and 6.8% tried to run away.
    • 84.2% of the parent respondents were reasonably sure or positive that their child had misrepresented or omitted parts of their history.
  • The declines were substantial as 43.3% of these AYAs had been identified as academically gifted students...before they began to fail their classes, drop out of high school or college, and became unable to hold a job.
    • (they damn kids in so many ways. Ever notice the 'lol queers are so bad at math/science!!' or the fucking constant illiteracy/dumbass/himbo jokes? It's almost like unchecked depression/mental health is horrible for the brain...)
  • 71.6% reported that the clinician did not explore issues of mental health, previous trauma, or any alternative causes of gender dysphoria before proceeding and 70.0% report that the clinician did not request any medical records before proceeding.
    • 23.8% of the parents who knew the content of their child’s visit reported that the child was offered prescriptions for puberty blockers and/or cross-sex hormones at the first visit. (:_(
    • (seen this with adults, but usually it was at least a few visits for actual children...)
  • Although small numbers of AYAs had improvement in mental well-being (12.6%), parent-child relationship (7.4%), grades/academic performance (6.4%), and had broadened their interests and hobbies (5.1%); the most common outcomes were worsened mental well-being (47.2%); worsened parent child relationship (57.3%); unchanged or mixed grades/academic performance (59.1%); and a narrowed range of interests and hobbies (58.1%).
    • (Definitely seems like it's worth it to transition children! Who wouldn't with odds like those? /sneed)

Really interested in the peer contagion in eating disorder clinics they mentioned. It's a great comparison, and many trans people also have eating disorders. Lots of little girls with insecurities or body dysmorphia are dx'd with gender dysphoria, and a fair amount of those kids later developed an ED-- this was what happened to me. Feeling like you're fat in a skinny body is not treated by becoming fat, but if you feel like you want your bits axed... more power to you, apparently.

"The phenomenon of natal females expressing a post-puberty rapid onset of gender dysphoria" stood out too. The transition from a sexless childhood to being a sexualized young woman can be terrible, especially if you're unattractive or fat. Tends to be straight/bi girls rather than misunderstood lesbians doing this.

I really appreciate the support. Desisting does suck, but it's by far the better option. A lot of folks who come out the other side are wiser, resilient people. There's still a conversation (things are way more critical in the UK) but overall, Rabidcolombian is spot on: if people do disagree with it, they're too scared to say so. A lot of them think that consuming an opposing piece of evidence is controversial all by itself. I'm not in the best position to speak up but going to forward some of these links to people who are already starting to!

Forgot to mention in my last post: It's extremely common for trans people to have a late/absent/deadbeat same-sex parent. Jeanette is awful, she's the reason things played out the way they did, but I can't help but wonder if Jazz just wanted to be more like the parent (maybe even sibling) that actually paid attention to him. It's hard to get a good read on the dad tho.
Jazzs mum wanted a girl, didn't she?

There is a discussion we need to be having at a societal level about toxic femininity and women with massive egos who are desperate to have a girl to raise in their image and will stop at nothing to get it.

But Jazz's mom already had a daughter. Maybe she wanted another girl, but I suspect it was more than just maternal sex preference that inspired her to buy Jazz a one-way ticket on the Trans Train. My guess is that Jeannette wanted a Very Special Child tied to a Very Important Cause who would guarantee her lots of attention and asspats. If Jazz hadn't been into dresses and dolls and Disney princesses as a little boy, the idea would never have occurred to her and she would have found some other, probably less destructive way to signal her progressiveness for fame and profit.

That has never been confirmed in the Bloshinskys' official narrative.
Jeanette *believed* she was pregnant with a girl, because of the way her body changed (in the same way as it did when she was pregnant with Ari, bot comparable to when she was pregnant with the twins). There are still many people today who blieve you can tell the sex of the unborn baby by the "way the mother carries" — none of them are scientific, classify them under "old wives tales".
On top of it, Jaron's sex could not be determined by the ultrasounds Jeanette got. Then her friends and family did the "Pendulum Swing Test" (which has the reliability of a fortune cookie) and she was even more sure she was expecting a girl.

I don't think Jeanette wanted a girl and only a girl and that is why she was so adamant on Jazz's being transgender. There were more factors at play, in my opinion.

However, one thing that has always stood out to me, might be of importance as to why Jeanette now (not from birth or in very early childhood) wants to keep Jazz dependent on her. When the twins were in their senior year of high school (not even in college yet), she was lamenting how she suffered from "empty nest syndrome". When Sander and Griffen finally moved out to attend college, they shared a room and didn't contact Jeanette as often as she'd liked them to. She was not pleased with that. Both boys even dared to grow a beard without telling Jeanette and she was all up in arms about it when she discovered it on their next video call.

She has said plenty of times before Jazz's gradution was even near that she would miss her baby when Jazz would go off to college, because then all of her children would have left the nest. Greg and Jeanette even went condo shopping in one epidode as their plan was to move out of the house that would be too big for just the two of them. It might have been Greg's idea, though: he seemed content with smaller condos, but Jeanette wanted enough bedrooms in case her four kids came to visit them. They still live in their old house.

Having a "special child" was probably one of the more contributing factors for believing Jazz was transgender and the transition that followed than Jeanette's desire to have another girl.

I see what's happening here. Jeanette's thinking must have been in the lines of "The others left me, this time I won't let that happen. I'm going to fuck this one up so bad he will never grow up."

Making him transition got her what she wanted: he was castrated and before that had his masculinity stunted with hormones, has to be in expensive hormones and likely therapy for the rest if his life (which mommy will pay for), has no life outside of this bullshittery (which means he wont easily fit in other circles with different views and will always be an outcast), will never meet a girl (or a man) and leave the nest like normal people. Add to this being a well known celebrity and it's even harder to escape this.
I don't know how he is doing academically or jobs wise, or what kind of life skills he has, but judging by similar cows here and all the stuff he is going through, I'd say probably not good. Which makes it even harder for him to escape.

Jeanette has succeeded in turning her son into a castrated, de-clawed, tutu-wearing circus dog who can never leave her. Even if he did want to leave this, his body is now mutilated for the rest of his life, hes a public figure, and everyone would treat him like a pariah because ppl are afraid to speak against these things.

It's so sad. It's not like Jazz can just wake up from this like many other cows here. At this point its probably better if he doesnt become lucid enough to see whats going on.

I think it's a combination of wanting a girl and making sure this "girl" never grows up and leaves. Had Jazz been born a girl, today he'd probably be like Eugenia Cooney.

Saddest of takes. I don't think this was her intention from the get to but it must be a nice perk. Especially because she seems to like her family close. If Jazz never wakes up from the spell what will happen when Jeannette dies? Are the twins gonna make sure she's dilates every night?

You underestimate Jeanette's narcissism. No one feeds her own son hormones, mutilates him and exposes this shitshow to the world like its something to be proud of if they don't feel this way.
She sees him as a prop. Nothing more.

That will be when the spell breaks and the circus begins to fall apart. Jazz is going to have some very rough times ahead.

How :optimistic: of you to assume Jaron will outlive Jeanette.

Reminds of of that old Zen story:
A rich man asked a Zen master to write something down that could encourage the prosperity of his family for years to come. It would be something that the family could cherish for generations. On a large piece of paper, the master wrote, "Father dies, son dies, grandson dies."

The rich man became angry when he saw the master's work. "I asked you to write something down that could bring happiness and prosperity to my family. Why do you give me something depressing like this?"

"If your son should die before you," the master answered, "this would bring unbearable grief to your family. If your grandson should die before your son, this also would bring great sorrow. If your family, generation after generation, disappears in the order I have described, it will be the natural course of life. This is true happiness and prosperity."

Apparently Jazz is now shilling some "teen skincare" brand, never mind that she's not actually a teenager anymore. Must be nice being an influencer...
Although judging by her promo shot I foresee some male pattern baldness in the near future
That promo shot sure is a . . . choice. Poor Jazz just isn't photogenic, and it becomes ever more apparent as he matures. He's not going to be able to cash in on his D-list celebrity status for much longer. In fact, he's well on his way to becoming an embarrassment to the trans cause: all the drugs and surgeries that were supposed to turn him into a pretty, pretty princess have instead left him an eating-disordered eunuch.

woah that shit's deep

I feel bad saying this, but it just bewilders me...mother is okay paying however much thousands of dollars for GRS and all that kind of unnatural thing for her kid, but not a nose job?
If I were Jazz it would be like the first thing I ask for. It's not even that uncommon for Jewish girls to get a nose job before our 18th birthday. I just don't see why Jeanette is "above" a facial surgery for her daughter or something; if they so worried about how Jazz will pass as a female, why they did gender surgery first but not to the face?
Someone else said it's because of her narcissism and she can't let Jazz be "prettier" than she is by having a nose that doesn't touch his top lip.
edit i am a complete retard and can't spell for shit

lmao Jazz is still prettier regardless, Jeanette looks like a hag or the Wicked Witch of the West, either one.
