General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

I have mixed feelings regarding Nijisanji.
On one hand, I'm happy the chat isnt polluted by faggots spamming the same stale memes over and over again... On the other hand, I wish I had more people to talk about Mito's eccentricities, or Warabeda's beautiful voice... Not to mention she is one of the few chuubas who plays FFXIV on stream.

Maybe that was in the works, but who knows Manjuu and Hypergryph’s position on this whole mess beyond the gun held to their head. All I know is that FBK had a history of doing gacha pulls streams, which she hasn’t done since the bugman incident. Particularly sad for me because there was hope for a second Hololive Azur Lane collaberation, which is all but dust now.

Fuck it, she’s getting my Oath Ring for this. Least I can do for Friend.

I wouldn't give your hopes up for a second collab since the Azur Lane development team has been lifted out of China and straight to Japan.

@Cubanodun is our resident Nijifag, but I really like what NijiID-EN is up to. Aadya is a pretty comfy stream.

It exists and the gosling-posting gachikoi in /hlg/ are pretty vocal, but I remember the strawpolls happening during the Amelia boyfriend reveal and honestly it seemed like the majority of posters were laughing at those people. Even the classic "Towa is a whore"/"Ayame and Miko are prostitutes" posts seem more like memes than actual wailing and teeth-gnashing. I don't know anything about anitubers really because my faculties are still intact but I'd bet most anyone going buckwild over Mori appearing on that show doing it as a joke, like that reddit post up there.

Weird phrasing, sorry. Botan created a reddit account and posted in the official subreddit a few times but was never made a mod, probably just because she didn't give a fuck. That has since changed and she is now an honorary mod like all the other members who have official accounts, but she didn't make an official "I'm here" thread like the other girls when they joined, she just kind of snuck in. My guess is that she's not really all that big into social media and would rather just chill out without bringing attention to herself. Ina, Watson and Gura are all also mods but haven't posted anything. Calli makes a rare comment and had her competition stickied to the top of the sub for months and Kiara is incredibly active, basically living on social media whenever she isn't streaming or watching Netflix.

Every professional needs to take care of himself and his equipment as a baseline for conducting themselves. Crashing a plane or killing someone on an operating table because you are sleep deprived is no excuse.

A lot of NijiID nowadays played FFXIV because someone infected one of them and the XIV virus spread from there

Considering the known danger of burnout at this day and age, I really really hope the managers knew when to intervene. I know Calli has several day jobs as Dice/Karen (?), but HoloEN can't afford to lose one of the girls because of a burnout, especially now

The JP server have collectively gotten Elytra, so they are at least in the version with Elytra.

Probably old hat by now but yall remember Calli saying she was working on a big freelance project? This was it.


Guess all that lack of sleep paid off, it's very well animated. She did say she was gonna do a making-of stream for it but restrict it as much as she can so that she doesn't get flooded with assholes who can't respect that Dice/Karen and Calli are different roles but I can still foresee there being a lot of problems with that.
