I really don't understand why TRAs do that shit.

To be fair, I haven't read the book or watch the film, but everytime it is brought up, Bob goes into this autistc rage about it. From just a quick glance on wikipedia, it seems to be a very raw book about growing up in a poverty stricken town full of despair and how he got out of it. Is Bob angry that Vance is leaning rightwing or that it potray poor white people as "shocking" human?

To me it seems like he just brought an entire world to the clique Bob obsesses with (the coastal elites) that they never knew about. For example, the director was inspired to remake Ocean's 11 with "rednecks" after he read the book and we got "Logan Lucky."

It's probably also why there's less and less effort to teach much about the history of the rise of Nazism. If you do that, people might start having sympathies with the 40s German! And that's how you get neo-nazis! No, much better to dehumanize others as much as possible to make sure you don't end up like them.

In the case of troons, they think that hiding all evidence that surgeries and hormones do jackshit to treat gender dysphoria means that nobody will ever question whether it's actually a good idea to do this. I'm kind of curious (but not curious enough to actually subject myself to any of Bob's videos) if he ever did a review of Logan Lucky. Such a great movie, probably one of the most positive depictions of rural white people in cinema in years, if not decades. Highly recommend it, it's a fun watch and a fantastic heist movie. Knowing Bob, he either didn't review it because hillbillies, or he hated that it portrayed rural whites as being actually human.
