I feel like LA's doing great. Like, we're under 10 deaths most days. As far as I'm concerned, the Doomers can bug off and Thanksgiving and Christmas parties are good to go. We're still tier purple though, because the government is stupid.

But what's up with the US death graph going up? Is it just the virus spreading through parts of the country that haven't dealt with it yet? Or are normal flu numbers being included? Or what? LA is pretty heavily pro-mask. I don't really think that's what's keeping us low... did we already burn through, like Sweden?

Who knows, eventually something has to give for this to end.

Perhaps the politicians/"experts" will finally read the room and pump the breaks. Perhaps the global economy collapses entirely, and Corona becomes the least of anyone's worries as everything goes to hell. Or perhaps we'll see some French Revolution shit that scares the politicians/"experts" straight in an attempt to save their own skins.

The first is increasingly unlikely, so total ruination or violent uprisings. Pick your poison.

It ends when they say it ends, which looks like spring 2022, right in time for Joe Biden to get a boost in the midterms through claiming victory over the pandemic that those damn dirty Republicans made spread out of control.

You know the "restrictions will probably be in place until the end of 2021" people like Saint Fauci? Well guess what, they're decisively in control of this country now, so get ready for another repeat of 2020 and watch out for the third wave or tenth wave or whatever which is totally coming any day now and keep grandma safe!

First the ruination, then the violence. Westerner are fat and mostly happy, they're not going to get violent until the bottom falls out and there's nothing left to lose. That's when things get sporty. Just for the reassuring thought, there's a bunch of historical cycles, like your generational cycles, good times/bad times cycle, and Glubb's cycle etc., that are all on the downswing all at once. That's not a certainty or anything, but it does make a time frame ripe for all kinds of major problems. There's no real predicting what happens, which is what the idiots with their Great Reset don't understand. Humans are the ultimate X factor, sure maybe they'll get their "utopia" and everyone will knuckle under, or maybe they'll kick start things and immediately lose control and we'll at least get to watch a few of these wannabe aristocrats get what's coming to them.

The would be masters of old used to have armies behind them, I don't put much stock in the wannabe's hordes of noodly-armed faggots and danger hairs. Hubris is a bitch of a thing.

They keep changing the standards on what a covid death is and making the tests less sensitive resulting in more false positives. The gremlin and the globalists need maximum panic and economic devastation to do the “great reset.” Does it all seem comical to the rest of you that even some normies are starting to realize this whole thing was a scam?

There are still entirely too many drones out there crying their hamplanet eyes out that it's EVERYONE else's fault they can't have their equally fat assed family over for Thanksgiving. There is one such faggot in the Kiwi Coofer thread melting down because 1/3 of his family are in poor health, and his C+ average medical professional family members say it's not saaaaafe.

Nevermind that these same assholes are almost invariably the McDonald's and high fructose corn syrup everything type in the first place, but it's all the fault of those seeeelfiiiiish jerks that dare not to live in fear and are going about living their lives! It's ridiculous.

I remember getting a vaccine in school where assemblies were usually held. Felt really weird getting a shot administered on stage. Not sure if these were mandatory. Just remember the odd setting.

My church has no one doing masks. My wife's mom's group doesn't. I haven't worn a mask outside of work in months and no one has said anything. Only issue in my personal life is some family members are seriously scared and rarely leave the house. Its not something they came to logically so its been impossible or inadvisable to push em. I think some are scared of me and my wife because we live our lives.

Man, I'm jealous. My workplace requires every employee to wear masks, although we seem fine with the few customers who go in without them. The day masks become optional might be the day I cry with joy.

But yeah, having family from across the country come over for Thanksgiving. Fuck people who say it's cancelled, I want to play with my baby niece dammit!

I work forty hours a week at a grocery store, surrounded by people with masks with intercom spouting the same two lines about how you need to wear a mask, wash your hands, ect. every five goddamned minutes. I'm grateful for the job mind you, but it just gets absolutely maddening.
