Doubtful, but if it were true, I wouldn't be surprised. Even then, if there's any truth to these rumors at all, it's probably a case of Pence encouraging Trump to cut his losses if they can't gain any real wins before the 14th of December.

Pence is a literal traditionalist and a relic of the old "Neocons and Fundies" GOP paradigm of the Reagan and Bush years. But he's more inclined towards the Bible Belt aspect than the neocon aspect.

The fact he's not an explicit neocon means he could probably still keep his career as a state-level politician and unlike Trump, is less of a lightning rod (no pun intended) for Woke Leftist hatred since he's much less of a public figure.

Still, Pence strikes me as the kind of guy who will stick by Trump as long as he can but will keep his head down no matter which way this goes down.

I think Al Gore would be the kind of person who'd go charging into the sandbox but then cut his losses for the PR boost if things quagmired as badly as they did under Bush.

The Europeans would probably have a more favorable view of him since he's less of an ornery redneck than Bush was and wasn't openly tied to the Religious Right. Even if the fundies were an exclusively American thing by 2000, they were commonly cited as a reason why the rest of the world hated America in the Bush years and why the more secular and well-spoken Obama was so beloved by the EU despite the fact he was every bit a corporatist and globalist as Bush was.

Granted, I'm not entirely sure what the media coverage of Bush and the American Religious Right was like in the UK and Europe back then. I'm sure @Pointless Pedant and @Judge Holden can probably give a good view of the British perspective while @Lemmingwise can give a mainland European view.

I do know American media talking heads often cited the fundies at the time as a major focal point of anti-American sentiment but I'm honestly unsure how much of that was legit versus how much was typical 2000's atheist sperging or progressives invoking what had become a common boogeyman by that point
I suspect the biggest difference would have been a bit more attention paid to rock music and vidya, but otherwise Gore and Bush II would have been basically the same crap pile

The left already rigged this election and we are not going to reward bad behavior. They already talked about lists and attacking Trump supporters and Republicans. How much more if a rallying cry do liberals need when it's been the same screeching for the last four years.

Other countries can kiss our asses as they will if Biden or Trump get into office. Nobody is going to do shit unless they want the aid money to stop. Which I am in favor of anyways. Nobody stopped doing business with America when Iraq got invaded, they won't stop now.
You are looking at the fringes and assuming that is the majority. Right now you have Antifa and the Far-Left being radicalized dipshits. The thing is, they make up a very small number of people. If the government really wanted to, they could crack down on them all over the course of a single month.

Direct Elector Selection changes that, its pure recruitment material for that radical left to bring in much, much larger chunks off the more mainstream left.

And do not discount foreign support. Foreign support means things like resources and money streaming in. It provides a material and financial base that they would otherwise lack in large scale conflict. For all your talk of civil war being inevitable, you really, really are not thinking of this in terms of any sort of actual war.

Slightly off-topic, but an AZ Congressman just shilled Razorfist

Well, then fuck him and fuck anyone still keeping faith in him. A snake like all the rest.
To be honest I wouldn't mind if Tucker somehow tricked CNN into letting him on the air, so long as he still spoke his mind. It might burst some bubbles. If he just goes on Newsmax, OAN or Infowars it would be much easier for normies to assume he was just some random nutjob.

Reminder that in 2020, a Republican president endorsed the writing of a pagan man with 666 in his username, and a Republican congressman endorsed a video from this guy. Imagine telling somebody this in the Bush years.

imagine telling bush era anti war activists that activism will devolve into slactivism. my killradio and indymedia self would have laughed you out of the room

1. Neither of them looks particularly appealing.
2. Biden is starting to look more like the Crypt Keeper every day. His veins seems to be standing out more as well.
3. I skipped around randomly and he managed to sound lost on 3 out of the 4 skips.
Their lack of personality is too much for me to wonder how could they ever be president of anything

Actually I believe no civil war in the traditional sense will happen since this country is too fat.

Its going to be more of a rural vs urban divide than left vs right. Those liberals will not pick up guns and train militias and even some of them realize this election was not clean. For the foreign support question, someone will have to take a hardline against them.

For the leftists, it's all white middle class kids who run away as soon as they get punched.

I believe that the country has reached a point where tension is inevitable now as there are the nationalist or people who love America crowd. And there is the globalist rootless cosmopolitan crowd. One will win or the other. With Trump, America we know it has a chance to survive. With Biden, thanks to his early victory, everyone now knows what are his true plans and in any other decent nation, a lunatic like that would end up assassinated or the military stages a coup or even his own party would block him hard. But I don't see that happening with the democrats.

If fraud is consistently found and only to biden a benefit, I don't see how the electors could possibly certify that election.

It will be throwing their own necks to the wolves, and in this case the wolves are the republican voters.
Go ahead. Republican legislatures in battleground states should definitely ignore election results.

Contact your representatives on Twitter. Send them some emails.

Trump. Now and forever. Victory is still within our grasp.
