I was the one to mention that. Breyer's jurisprudence is consequentialims, but its specific. Aimed at ensuring the most public participation in the system. He could fathom siding with Trump if he can be convinced of the severity this would have.

The only sane response to consequentialism is for angry mobs, some dressed as Scalia with pillows stuffed in their clothes, some in drag as ACB, and some in blackface as Clarence Thomas hunt down consequentialists in the streets, The Purge style.

Granted, I'm not entirely sure what the media coverage of Bush and the American Religious Right was like in the UK and Europe back then. I'm sure @Pointless Pedant and @Judge Holden can probably give a good view of the British perspective while @Lemmingwise can give a mainland European view.
It's not difficult to get European view and it's roughly the same as American view. Does the person live in city? Then their views conform to CNN. Does the person live in rural or biblical area? Then their view confirms to religious right. Do they spend time following news online? They probably have some Trump like view of things.

But since it is far away, even if american politics is more important to Europeans than vice versa, few people really know what is going on with your election and such, so they're more likely to just have CNN's perspective.

You have to understand, the basic game is for your news to show Europe as a leftist paradise to learn from, and our news is to show America as a country filled with dumb right wingers.

Wait you're telling me there's a literal philosophy based around "WHEN WILL YOU LEARN THAT YOUR ACTIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCES"??? Amazing

Edit: Oh, also, good morning Americans! Let's get up and at 'em today! :)

Late night talk show hosts are having a go at Trump for his comments regarding Election fraud:

I don't know what's more painful. Their attempts at avoiding mentioning the issues supporting Trump's points or their attempts at being funny.

Still, seeing them seethe against Trump personally and not adressing his support and the GOP does reenforce in my mind what I've been telling you.

There is literally only one fucking thing they couldn't account for. All their plans would have gone unadressed and hidden behind big tech censorship, were it not for Trump himself. As I mentioned before, they literally just did the "hey can I copy your homework" meme with the Borbon Restoration, but Spain back then didn't stand a chance, because Cánovas, our "Mitt Romney" so to speak, was already the leader of the conservative party, so no one could oppose Sagasta. The game was rigged from the start. But America stands a chance, and it is because the RINOs crashed hard in 2016. That is the one change. Every other difference is purely cosmetic, names and faces may be different, some got genderbent, but its all the same shit. The ONLY THING that's stood in the swamp's way is just how hard Trump's called them out since 2016 and how this has rallied the right wing populists against them.

If Trump gets away with this and manages to pass voting reforms to ensure they can't pull this bullshit in the future, he will, without the shadow of a doubt, have saved american democracy. Near single handedly. Were it not for him the uniparty would have gotten away with it. And all he's gotten in exchange is a constant stream of hatred and grief thrown his way.

I may wind up suffering from Trump Enslavement Syndrome in the near future. 'Cause I honestly think americans have no fucking clue just how lucky you are to have had him to save your ass right after Obama's activist judges prepared for Turnismo to take over. Had Hillary won I don't think America would've had a chance to escape the same trap that enslaved my country back then. You have absolutely no fucking clue just how big that bullet you dodged there was.

Commiefornia's been steadily going to shit for the last thirty years. I could readily believe, more than anywhere else, that there are a lot of secret Republican voters in the state

Personal nonrepresentative anecdote but this matches my observations.

Most of my hs/college peers got sucked into socjus stuff in the late 00s and most wound up in this lefty local Facebook group which I'm in. Over the decade since then it's slid further and further left and it's been fascinating to see people hit their personal tolerance limits and stop interacting or leave the group. There's now a secondary group just to mock the primary one and the mood there pretty closely matches this thread with an extra helping of trump support due to him wanting to address the wildfires. The county most of these people are in also voted much redder than it did in 16. Change might be coming but not this cycle.

I feel, I really want twitter to shit itself.

I want this with a side of Trump starting his own social network just for the sheer volume of salt it would produce.

Hope I don't get the feminist sticker, but it takes two (male and female dysfunction)...gender blame is stupid

Women are infinitely more susceptible to this kind of indoctrination, it's delusional to pretend otherwise.

Western civilization necked itself when they gave women a say in how society is run, what we're seeing now are just the final spasms of a dying organism.

Nah, women are the NPCs of gender.

He disliked nearly all women, and especially the young and pretty ones. It was always the women, and above all the young ones, who were the most bigoted adherents of the Party, the swallowers of slogans, the amateur spies and nosers-out of unorthodoxy. But this particular girl gave him the impression of being more dangerous than most.

It is. But it's delusional to claim that, for example, crying about how Orange Man put Mexinigger spawn in cages doesn't influence women to a greater degree.
I mean it's not even really sexist to think that. I thought it was sort of common sense. That's why the first stage of the indoctrination was the propagation of the lie that women are exactly the same as men, but with a vagina. It's not that there aren't cases of famous and industrious women outshining their male contemporaries in a field before the modern era (and even to this day). It's more that they are the exception to the rule and most women don't have such ambitions and care more about communal/familial life. It's why the first stage of this reprogramming of society started with undermining the nuclear family by making women focus on their career more than their family (women have pretty much always worked as teachers, seamstresses, farmhands, etc but even then it was for the sake of putting more food on the table at home or if they were part of a convent, spiritual work I guess rather than this more career oriented mindset of being on top).

Did we get the ultimate, irrefutable evidence yet?
