Since the election is still contested and there is ongoing litigation, there is no "president-elect" (which is just a pro forma title until the Electoral College casts their votes anyhoo.) As someone who remembers 2000, I can tell you with absolute certainty that nobody in the press was calling Bush "president-elect" at this juncture in the proceedings.
I remember them saying Gore had won and Bush was just grasping at straws with his lawsuits right up to Dec 14th when they started saying Bush had stolen the election and it was sad. This was the UK/EU press.
TDS-sufferers are going to rolled over and raw-dogged. To their chants of "Lock him up!" Biden is all like, "No, I don't think I will."
I still remember someone asking Trump if he'd prosecute Hillary and him immediately saying 'No', on the 23rd November and his supporters accepted it.
