It also gives the more blood-thirsty faction of the Dems all the ammunition they need to assert themselves over the "Kumbaya unity" faction and actually go through with their threats of prosecuting Trump and as many members of his administration as possible with bogus charges, and "excommunicating" Trump supporters from society - and that may take the country to a place where there's no coming back from.

Worst-case scenario, imagine if Trump still tries to fight the election when it's getting close to Biden's inauguration, and the Secret Service sides with Biden and drags Trump out of the White House.
