Consequentialism rules modern society now. I'm pretty sure I've said something to that effect before. Nothing matters but the result. Bernie was too democratic socialist, wouldn't have played nice with the rest of the government. So it was good that he was denied the nomination. Biden is a moderate. A known quantity. It is good he won the nomination. There is nothing more simple. The primary process was just a rubber stamp on that momentary mental computation.

But, no, it's always the other side starting it and not them.
The difference between both Gabbard and Sanders and Trump is that the latter is actually fighting back, something that the former two should've done (or maybe at least run third party to stick it to the DNC)

I think the average liberal is under the assumption that Biden has won, and the court cases aren't going to reserve that. The bigger concern is will Trump escape "justice" when he leaves office? What position will the GOP be in in 2024? How much Obama style obstruction will happen? Will they able to undo and reverse the rightwing direction Trump was trying to move the country? Will the Qanon types try to start a civil war? Ect. Ect.
I Visited a lib site out of curiosity to see what they were saying and they were obsessed with Rudy sweating and quoting my cousin Vinny. None of them said anything at all about the content of what he said or the current situation. They are posting gifs and memes and making jokes. I got the feeling it was gallows humor for some of them.
