Shit doesn't work like that. I have a full-time grown-up job and get paid less than a shift manager at McDonald's. This should also come with a disclaimer of "don't become a civil servant." PlatinumKnight talked a bit about his expenditures and it's safe to say he definitely has oil baron money to fuck around with. I've talked to the guy and he's just doing this to have a good time.
She's on REALLY strong painkillers to take part in this event but if her hand starts acting up she's gonna bow out.
Also, Coco went out of her way to warn her followers that she knows people are impersonating members to spam shit and to just ignore any junk from the chat, as if people weren't already doing it. It's not much but the fact that she's pissed off about it says a lot and hopefully Cover will do something in a more official capacity to shut them up for good.
For anyone who hasn't seen their detailed plans, here they are. It's really kind of sad.

I assume most of the EN girls are seagulls of some stripe. It's not talked about a lot nowadays, but back in the first half of the 2010s and prior, 4chan's /cgl/ was *the* place to be if you were a woman into cosplay or Japanese fashion and it's still a nexus of that community to a certain extent. And /cgl/ was sufficiently large and self-sustaining that it didn't really cross-pollinate with the rest of 4chan outside of some very large sitewide cultural shifts which is why it's not as well-known as the bigger boards. So I think it's fair enough to assume that Calli might not be an active 4chan user, but she probably does have enough experience to lurk her own threads.

Lets look at some milestones. I remember Gen5 at the time of debut was famous for having botan reach 100k before her debut, taking about a month to reach 300k. EN had everyone reach 100k on the day of debut, Sep 17. Gura blitzed the sub count, hitting 300k in 4 days. In comparison, Artia has 55.6k followers on Twitch, after about 6 months. What the actual fuck were they expecting to happen? For EN fans to drop HoloMyth and mass-sub to Artia? This double-triple agent shit baffles me.
I wonder if any of the fans looked at youtube numbers under a VPN and tried to stop the madness only to get drowned out by the wolf warrior antis.
Also there’s no need to go around reclassing fan names for a dead fanbase. Let them stay dead.

Flare had prior arrangements for something and Nene is visiting family (and will probably get lost in the process, just like when she ate with Botan and Lamy. Apparently Nene is VERY picky about food and flicked garnish off of her meat and Botan had to carry both Lamy and Nene because they couldn't read a map).
