Also Cenk is ridiculed endlessly by everyone while Maddow is only constantly mocked by her hatetrolls, so it's better to latch yourself onto someone higher in the progressive stack and not risk more humiliation by association.
I agree he probably thinks Anna and the spic with resting bitchface are a fine prize for any intellectual alpha like himself, but he has to know they're beyond his reach.
I always figured he went after Lindsay because Lindsay started humbler and stayed such way until the last few years; sorta like a woke "girl next door" who's only just made it into the big leagues. She's Sam Raimi's MJ to his Peter circa SM2.

He went after Lindsay because Lindsay cut her teeth on YouTube. She was catapulted to e-stardom when Doug Walker gave her the role of Nostalgia Chick.
That's where the whole "colleague" thing comes from. It's especially dumb to call everybody who also does a Youtube show a "colleague," because while he wants to include people more successful than him, it would also include drek like Tommy Tooter, and what have you. Somehow I have to imagine even Bob would shudder at that, just like Lindsay shudders at Bob. Not all Youtubers are equal, and there are plenty of different ways to measure that. Bob is not on Lindsay's level and never will be.
His way of handling the BTFO is almost as embarrassing as the BTFO itself. That's what makes him a cow. Can't stop, won't stop.

Yeah this is really unlikely especially since Anita was a girl who somehow spoke at the UN and she has better things to do (even if I think they're dumb) than engage with a creepy fanboy when there are probably lots of creepy fanboys that Anita has that are just like or worse than Bob.

I am talking about Ana Kasparian. Cenk's dumb cunt co-host of TYT. She's somewhere above most e-celbs like Lindsay and Anita, but below MSM celebs like Maddow. She's just high enough where I don't think she gives a single solitary fuck about Bob, or even knows who he is.

Ah I misunderstood but I doubt Ana would get involved with Bob unless he provokes her or the news of how he treated Ellis reaches TYT. It probably would've on a very slow news day but Bob should be glad election drama is still ongoing so more people remain unaware of his chimpout.
I think the only way Anita would BTFO Bob is if he continues his incel tirades more openly or he does something to her if they meet in person again.

I don't usually watch Bob's vids but if I do its most likely watched on a whim.
@0:22-0:47 Bob in a small moment of clarity brings up what his job has become to review this extremely commercialized toy/disney+/star wars/christmas movie. then not a moment too soon he goes: "ya know fuck it. according to 30 years of cyberpunk fiction this is technically pretty good evidence that I'm actually sort of [finger quotes] in the future [/finger quotes] so... bring it on mickey."
and the rest of the vid is 5 minutes of bob waffling on about how the movie is a fun parody with a barrage of referential moments and humor.
what really activated my neurons about this video is that this is the first time in a while I've heard bob reference "the superior future" outside of his twitter tirades. He is smug and condescending and snide in these videos as usual but I can't remember if his future boner pops up in any of his other videos.

To the best of our knowledge, no. But he did nuke his social media and go into hiding. Nobody cares enough to find him now; fitting, given how his semi-popularity years ago fed his ego.
On a personal note, as much as I'd love to see Bob go down in a blaze of glory, I think it'd be more ironic for him to go out like Dobson: slowly but surely losing his popularity, his Patreon tanking, until even his most dedicated haters can't be bothered to put in the effort to find him again. I don't think this is likely, though; Bob seems like the kind of guy who'll do something truly outrageous to get those Twitter likes.

I guarantee it’s no coincidence this happened right after he was fired from the Escapist and started making self published content. Speaking of, it seems that the Escapist let Bob keep the "Big Picture" brand/trademark/whatever after he was booted out. I bet Bob sees this as a win, but in reality it shows that he's been such a stain on the Escapist's reputation that they couldn't throw away that tarnished brand fast enough.
