"Massive" is doing a hell of a lot of of work in this sentence, as is "garden variety." What's the line between them? How many fake ballots are too many? "Well, there were 9,999 ballots from Mickey Mouse and that's OK, but if there'd been 10,000 we'd have a real problem?" Considering that the North Carolina Dems demanded- and got- a new election over much weaker evidence, the idea that the onus is on Trump to prove (Sorites-compliant) "massive" fraud beyond the existing ridiculous results feels like moving the goalposts. It's worth remembering that the US State Department has dismissed foreign elections as "rigged" on weaker evidence than what's currently publicly available.

As Larry Correia pointed out, there's a very simple test for determining whether problems are mistakes or malfeasance: mistakes are random. When they all start accumulating to the benefit of one party, then it's malfeasance. Just for the standpoint of probability, if Joe Biden was a real Catholic, election night would have connected him to more than enough miracles to be eligible for sainthood.
I can absolutely respect Correia's take on that (and Correia in general). The reason to lose with dignity would be if next time your opponent will too, since the mistakes are random and could hurt him instead, which is a laughable thought about Democrats. Trump's antics are not so much an escalation as matching the nonstop escalation of the other side.

The system is supposed to work by reacting to changes in bargaining position by making deals gradually. Perhaps in a different era they would have offered Trump/the GOP something meaningful to concede, but the days when that happens in politics are long gone. The Dems demand is always "absolutely everything we want" (e.g., the COVID relief bill) and given how spineless the GOP typically is, I can hardly call them shitty negotiators if they keep getting what they want now can I?

The definition of "massive" and "garden variety" is a question for the courts, and for public opinion.
The single biggest thing on the horizon that scares me is how far down the censorship rabbit hole we already are. Right now it's pretty clear plenty of people aren't buying it, but will their kids? If I hadn't seen the mask come off in Nov 2016 I'd probably still be voting blue no matter who and unbearably smug about it. The first cracks came from seeing the derangement and hate, but without free access to information, which I've seen largely dry up over the past four years (I mean real information, not shameless grifter talking heads on YouTube that will change their tune when the salami gets slicing or conspiracy theory disinfo, just real people discussing current events), I would have concluded I was just crazy or had toxic whiteness or some shit and learned to self crit.

IT'S HAPPENING!

Just to make sure I understand it correctly, it sounds like Greenlee county (which went 2/3 towards Trump) screwed up their upload, and thus ended up fudging the results in Trump's favor? No, I don't think it was intentional, just a screw up. It happens.

Look bro i found evidence bro debate me bro there wasnt any fraud bro please submit bro please just say he lost bro i need to break you bro pleaeeeeeeeeeeease
Lol why would I care if you deny reality? If you're so insanely mad over Trump losing because he betrayed his base that you honestly believe he actually won and better yet can somehow prove that, I want to take your money.

Exactly. They fixed it a few minutes ago. TRUMP FRAUD REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

tl;dr: I think it's a nice step forward.
I do appreciate you answering my questions, even if I truly have no idea if you're being sincere (I'll choose to believe you are). It's safe to say that we disagree on alot of this stuff fundamentally, but at least there's some discussion here that isn't worthless slapfighting for dozens of pages.

I was being sincere. My little niece now has a woman she can look up to if she wants to pursue politics to the highest position in the country. I think that's pretty rad.

She was never on the Trump team. She's not part of the campaign team and she doesn't represent Trump personally. This means that she has autonomy and doesn't have to route all expenditures through the campaign and the RNC which may well be compromised.

See, now you're not really understanding the gravity of what happened here, either.

If they'll go so far as to rig an election then what the peasants think of them doesn't matter at all. They will use their authoritarian boot to stamp the faces of the peasants when they get uppity, and they will use their cronies in the media and Big Tech to manufacture popular consensus to create support for such a measure.

They've done it with Trump and Biden.
They'd win by a landslide fair and square if that worked as well as you think it does.
