He lost a bet.
And yes, it is the best thing about this thread.
I don’t even remember hearing about the bet or even what it was.
Would any of the posters who come to this thread to gloat about Trump losing be interested in discussing whether they're actually happy about a Biden presidency? Is there a particular part of the Democratic Party's platform that any of you are genuinely looking forward to being implemented? Perhaps some aspect of the more left-leaning cultural positions that appeal to you vs. more conservative ones? What about foreign policy? Does Biden's incoming cabinet look like they'll be good for the rest of the world to you guys? Like overall are you people thinking that this is a positive development? I'm not asking to really even argue, I'm honestly curious.
I mean I understand disliking Trump, but that's a horse that has been beaten beyond death into its component atoms at this point. We get that you don't like him or his supporters and think it's hilarious that he's not going to be president anymore. Once the joy at defeating your enemies has faded, though, what is it about President Biden that gets your motors going?
To me, it’s to see if Trump can pull some magic out of his ass. Basically, shit like this:
.
So it'll devolve into a bunch of Dems backstabbing each other to be the king of shit mountain? Just because they flirt with collectivist ideology doesn't mean they aren't selfish.
Honestly, Pelosi seems content with what she has, while the real conflict will be trying to bring about progressive utopia and people being pissed it’s not coming fast enough.
Im at depression borderline acceptance, which stage are you guys in?

Somewhere between depression and acceptance. Depends on the day.
Oh don't get me wrong. There are plenty of retarded women out there who will see what she's done and use it to justify their own future actions. However, she's not someone you should be happy presenting to your children as an idol. She's just a sign of the fucking times. Those women are the kind of vile, wretched, assholes who will leave you destitute and ruined. They didn't matter anyway, and no one loves or truly cares for them.
The people that matter will never view her as an Idol. She will never be worshipped. No child is seriously going to write a paper about their hero Kamala Harris. They're the kind of barren wench that will strike fear into people and motivate them to not be that, though. So that is something.
You don’t understand how Democrats work: If you push something in enough progressive spiel, people can buy anything. Not only that, they genuinely believe Kamala Harris is someone worth idolizing. Have you seen how public schools are bringing up BLM?
I certainly don't. Trump, for all of his image as a hardass businessman who fires people at the drop of a hat, was a complete pushover when it came to exercising the power of his office. He was surrounded by enemies that were directly under his control and the most he did was replace a couple of agency heads. I understand that for the better part of his presidency he was staring down the barrel of an impeachment trap in the form of the Mueller travesty, but come the fuck on. He should have had the fortitude to fucking clean house and replace the entire upper management of every executive branch agency with cronies who would faithfully execute the agenda he campaigned on. He was literally the embodiment of Article II power for four years and he wielded it like a kid who was first learning how to drive.
Yeah, seeing how he wasn’t how /pol/ painted him was a little disappointing.
I’ll say it again; the weirdest thing about all of this is how tentative the mainstream DNC leadership seems to be about this. Sure the media is doing a full court press, as could be expected, but all the familiar faces you’d expect to be directly howling about Trump’s refusal to concede are all lukewarm about it if not conspicuously absent entirely.
Pelosi has her own shit to deal with, so no surprise that she hasn’t chimed in, but where’s Schumer? Fienstien? Warren? Fuck, even Hillary hasn’t come out of her lair for more than a handful of weakass jabs.
Biden himself has only thrown the occasional snipe about orderly transitions, when you’d expect him to be dropping the hammer on Trump directly. He’s not acting like a confident leader with a real mandate; he’s acting like not all the cards are on the table yet.
To play devil’s advocate though, he’s got plenty of reason to not want to alienate Trump voters. That, plus it’s no secret that the DNC is reeling from the losses in the house, and there’s likely a lot of infighting. They’re trying to consolidate power; divisive rhetoric can backfire now, that’s why they’ve kicked the “unity” talk into high gear as if people are going to forget they were calling people fascists for 4 years.
While Trump’s chances are slim, but the DNC establishment seems to have learned it’s lesson about underestimating him. Still, I can’t help shake the feeling that the Dem leadership is acting like they know how tenuous the situation is. They’re acting gun shy in the same way you’d expect them too if they really were worried about the consequences of massive fraud being discovered.
I can explain why this is: because they’re sharpening the knives. They’re withholding their plans. They’re waiting until Biden is in before they go on the offensive. AOC could have spoiled everything when she got people talking about lists. Now they have to go back to the drawing board and see if they have something that isn’t as overt from the gates. It’s why Kamala is preferred over Bernie and AOC to some: she has the progressive streak in her, but knows how to hold her fire and wait for the signal to strike.
So, looks like we got more Antifa blocking entrances and the only real public being BLM activists talking about how Trump is attempting voter suppression. Either way, we may get some Twitter videos from it.
Can we talk about the lockdowns? I expect them too last far longer with Biden. Sure, people can always just not listen, but how long before people are arrested for not wearing a mask while walking down the street, or even just being outside past 9:00?
Oh I know, I’m talking about how they’ll go into overdrive if Biden wins. And if they don’t, how they’ll probably block off access to things for people who don’t take the vaccine, if that comes out.
They’ll find a way. And there’ll be a lot of streaming stuff to distract people from feeling like the walls are closing in during s lockdown. Will anything top Tiger King and The Mandolorian? Place your bets.

The deplatforming is starting earlier than expected? How long before they’re shut down, thrown in front of the Trust and Reconciliation Commission, and later thrown in jail and tortured so they out their sources?
