I don't know maybe my standards aren't that high but I think Rudy's gotten off to a good start in the PA hearing.
The media is simultaneously telling us "That old guy who spent his life cleaning up new York and prosecuting the mob is now bad at law" and "That old guy who spent his life in politics accomplishing nothing and never even winning a presidential primary is now the most popular and best politician ever."

We're not sitting together in a theatre watching different movies. We're in a theatre watching the movie, they're at home getting told a fake version of the movie by a journalist who was playing with his phone through the whole thing.

They don't even need to win those seats. Remember awhile back here or some other thread, someone posted an article that pointed out that Grassley and another republican signaled that they would be open to granting amnesty. If they do happen to win those seats though, then they'll have it completely in the bag with or without any RINO. So yeah, Republicans are screwed anyway.
There was something similar planned during the Bush and Obama eras that never came to fruition.

"Look, I know Biden cheated to win, but we just need to accept that and carry on fighting later."

The amount of time it took some people in the GOP to go from ferocious to pussed-out retard is frankly astonishing. If you want to make the argument that he won legitimately and it's time to call it quits, sure, whatever, but to accept that he cheated and accept that you need to just live with that? That's the dumbest fucking take I've seen out of anyone thus-far.
They are either Democrat plants or so rich that they will not be affected or basically their sense of honor and dignity is all gone. They are the Right Wing equivalent to Left Wing NPCs.

These people exist in the third world and they exist to keep the current corrupt assholes in charge.

I’d say it’s more “accepting the crushing reality before you die chasing some mythical fantasy that might never come.
If you accept that you were cheated, you don't go to the perpetrator like a cuck and supplicate. Accepting reality would be accepting that it looks like they might get away with it. It is not being a fucking cuck.

It's not a matter of time, but a matter of events. Between the limited release of transition funds, the bad track record of the cases being brought up, and in particular the failure of the PA case (not accounting for appeals) combined with Rudy's arguably poor but certainly not A-game performance and the fact that their amendments locked them out of multiple appealing points, people who looked forward to getting anything out of this have been understandably discouraged.

And the guy is of the opinion that we need to tighten up how mail-in ballots are handled in the future. Which is a good sentiment, especially if you're of the opinion that nothing more can be done where we stand.

That is just the quintessential bullshit that has backed conservatism into it's present corner and allowed fucking Communism to be at the gates.
Yeah just give it up, boys. Not like since cheating worked this time, they won't continue using the same tactic.
This election has smoked out so many turncoats in the ranks.
Fuck this Chamberlain twat, even though like Tucker I'm sure he'll try his best to back pedal.

You know, i wonder how true it is about kamala sleeping her way up. I've been seeing that thrown around the farms. I would love to know since TDS folks slut shames manlia over her past modeling photos
Iirc during the primaries Willie Brown himself came out and said that he only gave her the job bc she was good in bed
Don't have the actual article/link though, so I guess not really "evidence" but still.

You have no fucking clue what you're talking about. Failure of the pa case? That was preordained, everyone knew that's what would happen, it was just a question of how quickly they'd do it. Did you think the pa sc was going to rule against themselves?

Until the scotus decides, or elects not to take their case, we're in the same position as we were on Nov 6.

It's been a hell of a ride from YOU'RE MAKING THIS ALL UP MOST SECURE ELECTION IN HISTORY to ok yeah we cheated but so what right guys it's time to heal? Please?

How much do you think they'll be able to appeal to the SCOTUS? Do you think it was good that they took out most of their counts by themselves so that the chances of those being able to be reviewed for appeal under any effort are exceedingly low?

I want to see the cases go forward all the same, but in the first place, I stated that Trump's legal team needed to bring their A-game, and because of factionalism, they haven't been able to.

That's the kind of thinking that has seen the right and conservatives cede all cultural and institutional power over the last century. It's a losers sentiment. "Well, we lost, can't fight anymore, gotta pack it up."

As if fighting now does nothing to push back against the fraudulent methods used.

If you're talking about them not making accusations of electoral fraud part of the cases anymore officially, that would be because electoral fraud has a very high standard of proof legally, IIRC. Election irregularities and violations of proper procedures and such are easier to prove, by contrast.

So, are the people testifying in these hearings giving sworn testimony like they do in Congress?

My viewpoint isn't that historically, they weren't actually choosing to fight another day, but rather they were choosing to say so and then not follow up.

Probably better off this way. Whenever conservatives aren't being cucks, they're being retarded instead.

I'd rather them be retarded than spineless. The worst that could happen from Conservatives regaining their spine is Satanic Panic II, and there's not enough boomers and edgy /pol/ LARPers to make that actually cancerous or feared again.

I'll never get people who are like "omg my kid is gonna be soooo inspired at this person being in charge!"

Speaking as someone who got into school politics - the vast majority of kids don't give a stuff about this stuff. Only the hardcore nerds with a thing for history or political intrigue get into politics or appreciate civics beyond public services they can better understand like police and fire service.

To most kids/teens, politics is people sitting in committees arguing over lots of small things (which is what it mostly *is*) - and at best you only care if it impacts you in a way that you notice. Like new math, or the forcing schools to change their lunch menu to incredibly depressing "healthy alternatives".

It's just another adult in the chain of authority that you hear about and sometimes see on TV when something important is happening.

You know, i wonder how true it is about kamala sleeping her way up. I've been seeing that thrown around the farms. I would love to know since TDS folks slut shames manlia over her past modeling photos
She's a woman who, in less than 2 months, will be the first woman vice president of the United States. That's something to look up to

Dude, women aren't going to look up to a slut who used her body to get political favors. My dad's Millennial, Hispanic, Trump hating girlfriend doesn't even like Kamala Harris. In fact she hated Kamala Harris so much that she voted for Trump. This fantasy world where anyone but white liberal women who scream, "YAAAAASSSS QWUEEEEN!" Are enthusiastic for her is incredibly retarded.

You want to give women a real role model? Find someone that didn't get where she is by sucking dick and using a man she accused of being a sexual abuser as a trojan horse to get in the White House. I was perfectly willing to believe everything you said up until that. I could at least see your point of view. But here you have to be joking. You have to be doing this ironically.

I went to a small-town high school with Karen. Karen has always been attention seeking, first it was theatre and she dumped me as a friend when I won the part she wanted. Next it was the swim team, she didn't make varsity as an underclassman and was so distraught she cut her legs in the locker room at the first big meet so all the girls could see what "we did" to her, needless to say the meet was derailed so Karen could be calmed down and cared for. Next it was mock-trial and academic decathlon, Karen had a top GPA and I was a slacker (fuck homework, just give me the test) and we were placed on separate teams. While we all medaled at county level, Karen's team did not make enough points to go to state, but mine did and she immediately volunteered to be an alternate for my team. At night in the hotel Karen would throw massive tantrums and try everything in the book to get someone to crack from the pressure so she could take their place and be the star. It didn't work and the team of slackers medaled again. I gave mine to Karen because I felt sorry for her, but when we got back to school she told people I'd gotten sick and she had taken my place, leading the team to victory.

After high school, Karen developed a keen interest in politics and activism, denouncing the racist and sexist discrimination she suffered on a daily basis that had beat her down and kept her from winning everything she ever tried to do. BLM was a godsend for Karen's political rants and validation of her "POC experience". Over the summer, every single day, Karen had a new post fearing for her life, her kids, her husband...in a town who's number one killer is drunk driving your car off the side of a cliff at 2am. Down with the police! When Kamala was announced as the winning VP, Karen cried with joy because it was a sign that a woman had broken the glass ceiling and ascended to the highest echelons of power. Karen can imagine herself in Kamala's place, reigning over the foolish denizens of the country, re-educating the poor misguided souls and punishing those vile evil racists who refuse to see their crimes against innocent, stronk, independent POC wahmen like her.

(Karen's father was the mayor. She was considered one of the most beautiful and intelligent girls at school, but what Karen has never understood is that no one was discriminating against her because of her skin or her bobs and vagene. It is her personality, attention-seeking behavior, and perpetual victimhood that are utterly repulsive. Pretty on the outside, putrid on the inside.)

So it doesn't matter if Kamala used the oldest path to power for a woman, or was self-made or whatever. It doesn't matter that she is the embodiment of hypocrisy. It doesn't even matter if your little girl gives zero fucks about politics. All that matters is that she won which means that Karen can win too. Karen is a teacher, so how do you think Karen will be influencing her students? And what will happen if concerned parents try to get rid of Karen? They won't be able to, their only choices will be homeschool or move, because Karen has befriended everyone important and installed herself as a pillar of the community.

As for me, a woman who gives a shit about merit, I find this horrifying.
