I don't get the deal with some people and thinking (((they))) will make Covid last forever and ever just to spite US conservatives. A vaccine is coming, and things seem to be going well with the development of one, I doubt (((they))) can convince anyone the lockdowns are still necessary once we have a vaccine that prevents the disease. But, I know the same people who think the global pandemic is a grand conspiracy to specifically inconvenience people in the USA are also the sorts to think vaccines turn you gay, give you Autism and make your Autism trans.

If Trump makes his own party, now conservatives who aren't fans of him won't have a reason to bite the bullet and vote for him anyway since he's all they got, meaning votes for him and votes for the next republican nominee will be split, and the democrats will be guaranteed a win even if their candidate is the exhumed corpse of Marx with AOC as its running mate. So, great plan there. I think those with TES really underestimate how many people voted for Trump just because they're conservatives and Trump's all they had to work with.

A big problem with A&N is that, like a lot of virtual echo chambers, it encourages a constant game of one-upmanship in terms of how good and righteous Your Guys are and how evil and vile Their Guys are, as an insufficient level of enthusiasm or vitriol, respectively, can make you the victim of friendly fire. So you end up with people making completely incoherent and hyperbolic statements totally detached from reality because they make your "side" totally unambiguous, and then everyone else cheers it on because pointing out logical flaws is a form of treason.

This is all out there, all being considered, argued for/against, proposed, etc. It's a major, major issue that people even itt just scoff at without using their brain. Grab that man, inject him in the street!" insanity like Dershowitz (a familiar name regarding Epstein) suggested but rather simply that if you don't get vaccinated (because you're waiting to see the results of vaccination first instead of just imbibing whatever is given to you into your bloodstream, like countless professionals have been suggesting) you won't be issued an ID, and without an ID you won't be able to fully function in society. The authoritarian mandates already in place even just for a holiday show this is a potential direction they can be inclined to go "for your safety".
It sounds crazy if not for the continual calls for protracted shut-downs, the proposition of vaccination IDs (as seen even before all this in the movie "Contagion", which was co-created with the help renown and influential virologist Larry Brilliant who himself also suggested such a thing be implemented in a livestream regarding Coronavirus), etc. Not to mention other instances where, for whatever given goal, government screwed with vaccination processes. which led to greater mistrust not just about their development but their application.
Mind you, it's not like all of this is relegated to Biden winning/losing. Trump is not a savior or saint, as I again repeated in the post that was quoted for giggles itt. Even if Trump won the powers that be would remain--entitled evil rich people wanting their weird Great Reset global socialist dystopia.
However, the difference is Reps/Trump pushing for less lock-downs and Dems/Biden pushing for more. It's shown by the current overreach of authorities with a lack of scientifically verified universal health regulations (i.e. "You can't have Thanksgiving with more than ten people and stay sic feet apart" in one state, but in another state it's "nine feet apart" and in another country it's twelve or whatever, never mind the fact that it's been proven how masks or no, six feet or ten feet, being/breathing in the same air as someone infected (even if they left the room long after you entered) can get you potentially infected because of the stagnant air of a room as opposed to the open air of outside, where they still want people wearing masks anyway). And again, none of this is even touching on the proven success of simply taking measurable precautions around what we have come to know of the virus and its affects on those most vulnerable.
I say this as someone with an immune problem.
Also just for posterity I say "socialist" regarding Biden/Harris with reference to the worldview and application inherent in the legislature being proposed in the Equality Act, Green New Deal, the whole mandatory buy-back for firearms thing, the concept of Racial Equity (and the madness of the "Great Reset" but that's a problem behind either side), etc. Not that I think Biden or Kamala are somehow gonna pull their faces off on inauguration day and prove they were clones of Mao all along.
