Looks like "Froot" aka bsapricot is about to start her own streaming career. Right now the others are just dicking around in Minecraft. I like ironmouse despite her community, which I'll talk about in a moment, but holy shit I got more enjoyment watching a 3 minute clip of Sakura Miko burning shit down with lava buckets than I have in 2 hours of this.

As for ironmouse, I think she is in an unfortunate position that she simply hasn't been in public life enough to know how much things have changed among people in the last decade. People have always been shitty, shady fucks but in the last decade or so it seems this has manifested itself much more prominently and spread far and wide into what were formerly isolated communities. Vtubing is even comparatively new so it surprised me to read up on things and see how quickly some shit began once it drew in more fans outside of random corners of the internet. But she has been fairly limited in her experience to the outside world, I can see where she wouldn't really have the experience to know just how far and wide shitty people have spread around. She may legitimately believe that the people she's chosen for their positions are good people, idk. Or maybe she's shitty too and just gets along with people like Silver because of it. But she seems significantly less cunty than Silver so I doubt that. As for her modstaff they are just randos who were into weebshit in her early days, or in the case of her lead mod roxy, I think she legitimately considers her to be a best friend, and have seen a few instances where roxy was being a bitch and mouse felt the need to explain things in a more calm tone. She talks about calling her at 3 AM sometimes when she's feeling depressed etc so obviously she's not likely to "fire" someone she considers a line of support on a personal level, someone who likely knows personal details about her and is already shown to be vindictive.
A ton of the community surrounding all these girls is horrible though. Mel's has enough channers in it that some of them have a thick enough skin but there are a TON of people in the others that are just thin skinned and hypersensitive and honest to god white knight for people they don't know with fictional avatars. They form their own little cliques and all come off as holier than thou while still being judgmental assholes themselves. Silver's and Mouse's seem to be the worst out of the group, and I don't even bother looking at Zentreya's or Nyanner's.
What's the deal with Silver? She seems the most "normal" of the group, although I'm getting the impression that doesn't mean much when the others have such a reputation.
Melody seems more primed for a downfall than the others. I looked up her debut streams from earlier this year and she seemed somewhat "with it" then, but she sounds way off now. Her brain works like a fucking markov chain.
Silver just really comes off as a bitch. As I said before I'm 90% sure she's the type of girl who was slightly above average social status in high school but still not cool enough to sit with the mean girls, so she played it off with a "hot topic meets spencers gifts" goth aesthetic and played to her cute face and nice "features". She will readily bitch at people during stream for inane things like "backseat gaming" when someone's just making a joke like "lol crash the sub". When mouse got partnered I remember her sperging out momentarily telling people to shut the fuck up about mouse in her stream, etc, that you shouldn't discuss other streamers in her stream even if they're her friends, etc - completely ignoring the fact that half of the people watching her stream had come from the raid that mouse had sent to her just a little while earlier. She knows her community mods are trash but she still enables them and keeps them on, as well as defends their actions.
As far as Mel, sadly I can kinda see that. She has an endearing enough personality but I do have to agree I think she is lacking, shall we say, big brain. She gets confused and panics easily, is socially anxious, and has all the assertiveness of a rock. It took her getting deplatformed from one of her most profitable avenues to get her to even address the Digitrevx mess, despite her having enough proof of his fuckery to show that she owned the copyright and IP after the contract etc. I feel like a point will come where she realizes her success has led to an oversaturated market and she'll exit, but it's hard to tell, she might actually be the cause of the coming vshojo fracture just by her sheer naivete. Her success makes her a central point of relevance among the others because her success directly drew in larger audiences and access for the others in terms of thousands of new subscribers. That's a fairly significant amount of money, plus all the donations and bits, which are largely due to her early day collabs with people like Silver and Ironmouse that shot their audience counts up from numbers of <200 to upwards of 4-6k on average now. But that also makes her the highest standing blade of grass, and you know how that old adage goes. With dramacows and grifters like Silver and Nyanners in the group it's only a matter of time until some issue comes up where they split into fractions that try to pull Mel to one side or the other and she will bury her head in the sand.
