I remembered an interesting story from maybe a decade ago that's a damn good example of complete lack of long term thinking with a dash of Traci Lords in there.

Kerry Young, a czech "pornstar" caused a massive controversy a while back. The start is unremarkable, a young aspiring pornstar hits up a production company, does a couple of shoots. Nothing too crazy from what the articles about it described, blew a guy in the forest or something. Now everything was well and good until her classmate recognized her and it turned out that her classmate is in the 9th grade, making her 14.

At that point the whole internet blew up, because not only is it incredibly illegal to tape it, even if there was no tape it'd be statutory rape as the age of consent is 15. So you had a bunch of people calling for heads of the guy in the video, as well as everyone around him, because it's obvious there's some grooming or other shady shit going on.

Well couple months later it turned out not to be the case, because the guy actually had a photocopy of the id she gave him, that said she is 19. She took her older sisters id and forged her pic on there. I have no idea how convincing a forgery produced by a 14 year old dumbass is, but apparently it was either good enough to fool them, or they saw through it but didn't care cause of plausible deniability. Either way they stopped the criminal investigation so the whole company got off scot free.

Lucky for her, this whole thing probably won't bite her in the ass as it would with any other pornstar, the videos being illegal and all.
