Inactive Richard "Lowtax" Kyanka - Deadbeat (emphasis on "Dead") founder of Something Awful, forced out of his own community, on his second divorce, stuck his dick in crazy, "Birth Giver"

To ad to that. and @TinyKitty s point. If he really believed he would be VINDICATED then he coulda banned the goons telling him to fuck off, he coulda not sold to Jeff. He coulda told the goons that after his court date they could ether turn on the pateron money or he would shutter the forums. Ideally he coulda just turned the forums off and on for a few hours each day to flex his power.

Instead I honestly think jeff played him and he s having trouble processing reality.

The goons love their hug box and I think they woulda binked first.
I don’t think Jeff played him, I think Richard wasn’t used to seeing his money dwindle that quickly and took a payout. Then once sweet vindication happened, expected his Patreon to get restored back to what it was or even more.

Richard played himself with typical addict thinking: never truly thinking beyond his next high but believes everything will be all right because of delusions of grandeur. He wanted that brief dopamine hit of getting a bunch of money and got it. He just had no idea what to do if that sweet vindication never materialized.

This. All he had to really do is perma the current rebellious staff without notice, make some threads offering moderator positions and pick some people from these threads randomly. The new moderators would've been loyal for being able to wield that power over other goons and he would've just needed to instruct them to ban anyone who speaks of the whole drama. Then he'd have to check in sometimes if the new moderators work and keep the crab bucket that is SA running and the money for red titles and bans would've kept flowing in and goons would've eventually shut up. Maybe some offsite would've popped up and died a year later. Quite honestly, as the deal took longer and longer to go through they already started calming down. Sure it would've dried out eventually but I feel that could've taken a long time.

Of course all of this would've involved doing any work and we cannot have that. I'm willing to bet money the deal took as much time as it did because he couldn't be arsed to do something trivial that takes five minutes.

EDIT: also that above, I doubt he had any long-term plan in regards to selling besides some vague thought that he'll become a famous streamer by putting in 5% effort. The funny thing about this is that I didn't think that was fully out of his reach in the past. He would never have taken off in a big way but he could've built a small, loyal following of overpaid computer toucher paypigs. He just never did the effort and now it's too late anyways.

To be fair you can make a solid living off of that 5% effort if you're a girl streamer or DSP. One of the people I'm subscribed to regularly puts out videos between his other shit showing how fucked some of it is, there's some chicks just streaming themselves sleeping or just sitting in silence playing on their phones.

I don't see Lowtax getting in as a liked streamer, he could maybe pull off hates streamer with lots of detractors and hate watchers though. If he went out there going all out against the men in dresses who took his forums I can see that attracting some kind of crowd he could squeeze some money out of.

Low t isn't gonna do shit. You put more effort into that post than he will put into anything.

Trust me, I am very much aware. But you can speculate. Talk about some maybe solutions, some possibly outlandish shit. Him dying alone in a ditch after his parents go isn't all that much fun, but a likely outcome.

He could put more effort in, but he has absolutely no charisma. I don't know how people in here can endure listening to him for more than 10 minutes, and I know that watching someone fall apart in real-time is a big draw to the current Kyanka show.

I scrub through his streams and it’s difficult to do that. He’s boring and can’t even pretend he enjoys streaming.

I think your right. he lived for years on the "WHATS FUN RIGHT NOW"

Its just amazing that when people close to him offered or tried to help he fucking refused. Ashely wanted null to help fix the forums and rich couldnt stand for her to be right.

Logan as well honestly wanted to put work into the site and he fought her on that.

Sells the site because he was told to fuck off and doesnt get why people arent giving him money.

Yeah, even after he was checked out for over a decade, any time he posted anything, the thread got 5'd to shit, and people came out of the woodwork to felate him
I'm trying to remember when the tide started to turn against him and goons started taking swipes at him when he showed up instead of sucking his dick.

The mangosteen episode, I think

Richard has been completely silent for a week now, far as I can tell. Trial is Wednesday morning.
I think he just finally realized he has almost no audience left and threw in the towel. He created a new twitter account to promote his streams (not to evade his numerous twitter bans) and got 10 new followers in a week after making an announcement on youtube. I doubt he's been strategizing for his upcoming legal VINDICATION.

Grandma walked in on me watching Lowbar screaming for 10 seconds into camera in one of his streams.
Who's this?
- Just some idiot.
Truly an idiot.
Even Alzheimer's casualities wouldn't associate with Lowbar. That merits some kind of special internet sticker.
