As great of a throwback as that would be, the idea already has a hairline fracture in it ever since he reviewed Life of Black Tiger on PS4.

Huh, that was a really good one. No skits or gimmicks or anything, very back to basics, exactly what made the AVGN good. I also laughed at the Goldberg memory card. Way way better than last year's.
It was okay.

"Resident Evil but with vampires" was a great idea, shame it wasted on such a shitty game.

I hope to see James do more PS1 games, he's done a few over the years, but it seems like a real untapped well to me.

I'm still waiting for a good vampire game to be done that isn't from two decades ago.

Mike thinks Justin is a fat weirdo, the video:

To be fair Mike isn't wrong. Justin has always been a fat weirdo. It doesn't help that he's apparently still in touch with pedo friend of his Bob Magrann. At least Mike's game collection spanning 40+ years of games and consoles is pretty cool and impressive. Here, i'm questioning myself why Crusty Justy is paying top dollar for shit he never uses like Gengar purses and 20 year old Eggo waffle boxes.

Speaking of Mike, he looks horrible, the bags under his eyes are really prevalent. I know he used/usually streams in the middle of the night but god damn dude, get some shut eye. Why is he here to begin with? He already states in the video that he knows jack shit about Pokemon, let alone Gengar. Hell, despite owning a huge game collection, anything beyond 16 bit gaming is foreign to him.

Still better than collecting Funko Pops

Is there any way to view the Atari porn episode today?

Someone actually reuploaded it on a small channel. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pw8tdieB30c&list=PLVZPQCbMOFuvfLh_pcgSvY5IVvEcyQ2KE&index=31

Some dude uploaded it in an all episodes playlist with the Mario 3 Wizard Review
Also, the cinemassacre website is still running.

Still have the original versions, without Youtube copyright edits, I believe.

Never got into the AVGN but the Monster Madness videos were a delight. The Super Inframan one had me cracking up. I'll give this guy's channel a shot.

Damn. I mean, I knew a lot of the AVGN stuff is exaggerated and fake (obviously) but I had at least assumed that collection they use for the set was James’s and not Mike’s.

I was talking moreso about Mike's personal collection, but when James was starting out with the Nerd reviews, most of the games/systems they used belonged to Mike, while some other portions of it came from fan donations. James was pretty much done with gaming after the 16 bit era, only coming back to it for AVGN and playing a little bit of 6th generation gaming during his time in college with Mike.
(1:09 to 1:59, talking about how most of the collection for the videos came from Mike)

James has always been more of a movie guy, only really being into gaming when he was a kid.
