A transgender girl accused of assaulting two students at a Texas high school alleges that she was being bullied and was merely fighting back

Shocking video shows a student identified by police as Travez Perry violently punching, kicking and stomping on a girl in the hallway of Tomball High School.

The female student was transported to the hospital along with a male student, whom Perry allegedly kicked in the face and knocked unconscious.

According to the police report, Perry - who goes by 'Millie' - told officers that the victim has been bullying her and had posted a photo of her on social media with a negative comment.

One Tomball High School parent whose daughter knows Perry said that the 18-year-old had been the target of a death threat.

'From what my daughter has said that the girl that was the bully had posted a picture of Millie saying people like this should die,' the mother, who asked not to be identified by name, told DailyMail.com.

When Perry appeared in court on assault charges, her attorney told a judge that the teen has been undergoing a difficult transition from male to female and that: 'There's more to this story than meets the eye.'

Perry is currently out on bond, according to authorities.

The video of the altercation sparked a widespread debate on social media as some claim Perry was justified in standing up to her alleged bullies and others condemn her use of violence.

The mother who spoke with DailyMail.com has been one of Millie's most ardent defenders on Facebook.

'I do not condone violence at all. But situations like this show that people now a days, not just kids, think they can post what they want. Or say what they want without thinking of who they are hurting,' she said.

'Nobody knows what Millie has gone through, and this could have just been a final straw for her. That is all speculation of course because I don't personally know her or her family, but as a parent and someone who is part of the LGBTQ community this girl needs help and support, not grown men online talking about her private parts and shaming and mocking her.'

One Facebook commenter summed up the views of many, writing: 'This was brutal, and severe! I was bullied for years and never attacked anyone!'

Multiple commenters rejected the gender transition defense and classified the attack as a male senselessly beating a female.

One woman wrote on Facebook: 'This person will get off because they're transitioning. This is an animal. She kicked, and stomped, and beat...not okay. Bullying is not acceptable, but kicking someone in the head. Punishment doesn't fit the crime.'

This is why I think the I <3 JK campaign is such a good one, especially in a place like Edinburgh that has ties to the author and Harry Potter. It plays with the concept just enough to piss the right people off so that they make a fuss, and then boomers get confused as to why a load of crossdressers are angry about stickers that say they love a children's author. It's quite hard to argue against. Like the 4chan "Islam is right about women" posters - it ties people up in knots trying to explain why it's a horrible statement without contradicting themselves. Eventually I <3 JK will die off as more people become wise to it, but being able to get billboards up of it is hillarious as the people in the advertising agencies would see the proposed image and have absolutely no cause for concern based on the language used, the design, or the easily explained meaning (it is celebrating a famous author).

Eh, isn’t this whats trans women do in real life? So many troon out after being arrested.

Also, crossdressing implies you don’t identify as the clothes you are dressing up in and that it’s a costume. Not trans related unless you know you are wearing clothes not intended for you and want to pretend otherwise. The fact that crossdressers exist is not transphobic.

137. The defendant argues that PBs give the child “time to think”, that is, to decide whether or not to proceed to cross-sex hormones or to revert to development in the natal sex. But the use of puberty blockers is not itself a neutral process by which time stands still for the child on PBs, whether physically or psychologically. PBs prevent the child going through puberty in the normal biological process. As a minimum it seems to us that this means that the child is not undergoing the physical and consequential psychological changes which would contribute to the understanding of a person’s identity. Rep. Steve Toth's bill would amend the Texas Family Code to include sex change surgeries and hormone therapy for minors under child abuse.

State Rep. Steve Toth (R-Spring) has filed a bill to classify sex changes and other gender affirmation procedures as child abuse when performed on minors.

House Bill (HB) 68 would amend the section of the Texas Family Code that defines child abuse to include the removal of healthy tissue, the prescription of puberty-blocking hormones, and sterilization surgeries if the procedures aim to “change or affirm a child’s perception of the child’s sex, if that perception is inconsistent with the child’s biological sex as determined by the child’s sex organs, chromosomes, and endogenous hormone profiles.”

Toth says the infamous James Younger case inspired his bill.

“I was mortified to know… that you could take a seven-year-old and put him on hormone-blocking drugs… I was horrified to know or to think that a judge would actually allow this. I mean, it’s just unbelievable,” Toth said.

“It’s ridiculous in my mind that the legislature even has to give guidance or create a law to protect a seven-year-old from a parent that’s trying to transition a seven-year-old. I mean, that’s ridiculous.”

James Younger’s parents battled in court over his conservatorship, with the mother contending that James identified as a girl and pressing for transition procedures. The mother emphasized that she was not seeking a medical transition, which HB 68 would prohibit, against the father’s suspicions.

In addition to outlawing hormone blockers for children, the bill would classify as child abuse surgeries including castration, vasectomy, hysterectomy, oophorectomy, metoidioplasty, orchiectomy, penectomy, phalloplasty, and vaginoplasty. These procedures all either remove sex organs or surgically change them into those possessed by the opposite sex.
Toth believes most children believed to have gender dysphoria decide not to commit to transition upon adulthood, and he plans to call a number of people who received such treatments in childhood to testify before the legislature.

“If you look at study after study after study… nearly 80 percent of these kids by the time they’re 20 desist from wanting to transition,” Toth argued.

“We’re going to have people that will testify that have gone through this, that have desisted… This isn’t an issue of being anti-gay or being against the homosexual community. The vast majority of these people that desist from it do go on to practice homosexuality,” said the lawmaker. “So it’s not an issue of being anti-gay. This doesn’t stop someone from desisting from homosexuality. It’s to protect them from making a crucial mistake in their developmental years.”

The 87th Texas Legislative Session is set to convene in January 2021.

She’s going to be nigh impossible to cast now and will get mostly pity roles from her friends on the LGBT freak show circuit (think Ryan Murphy and his ilk). She’s 35, a decade past the ingenue expiration date, and has now made herself ineligible for the thirty something single gal or mom roles most of her contemporaries are competing for in Hollywood.

A few years ago Bryan Fuller wanted her for Clarice should Hannibal get the rights to Silence of the Lambs. Yeah, that’s not happening.
