calm down, retardShe is the worst baboon of the bunch. You got a black power rep, and two reverse Oreos sitting up there. If something happens to Jessy, I hope a mob goes to this rep's house and [BECOMES THEIR BEST FRIEND].
Edit: Fair point, be their best friend with loud boom boxes, lasers, and flashlights. Lets rave!
Is it just me or has 311 been extra salty since that nuclear terrorist was wiped?
Yeah, it doesn't work like thatAnd if he does, somebody should file suit against Twitter for shutting down a public forum.
He can't. There was no time limit or condition made upon the declaration, which, in my layman's take, could even go so far as to mean that Twitter cannot even shut the site down, because it would deprive the aforementioned right. I'm dead fucking serious, it is now United States law that Trump's account must remain active and available in perpetuity, or until a ruling to the contrary supersedes it. The only way "around" it is if nobody takes him to court over it, because these people never think through how their own bullshit can be used against them.

If we did it in a way that made sense, we would also have Voter IDIMO I think observers literally wearing their voting average on their lanyards invites a lot of trouble. Remove that or find a way to make it even in voting intention but don't have people in the polling centers know if you vote Dem/GOP/Green or whatever. It's crazy to me that US does it like this, when UK has impartial observers who have 0 obligation to tell anyone their personal political slant.
Not normally, no, but activist judges have a way of making stupid rulings that fuck everything up.Yeah, it doesn't work like that
I read all your posts in a Hulk Hogan voice; it is hard to take ya seriously.calm down, retard
because it's probably a legitimate issue for her as someone who staffs it workers."I think all Chinese look alike"
How did she drop that so gracefully?
I'd say that the only option right now to is fight for GA, and then focus on the primaries afterwards. If you can keep the fire burning. Otherwise, populism is repeated historical phenomenon for a reason-- to say nothing of the fact that even if you manage a populist rejuvenation of a political party, even if the revolutionaries don't become the establishment they once hated, internal politics can calcify into that in 0-2 generations.
So, the first thing is to not be beggars in the first place so that this scenario can be avoided wholesale in the future.
That aside, this is exactly what career politicians bank on-- "now, I know I'm a complete scoundrel at best and a good-for-nothing do-nothing at worst, but that guy over there is going to be a building block to the tower of communism/fascism, and if you don't vote for me, there'll be nobody standing in the way of that". People think that there needs to be change, but nobody actually does anything to even promote it, and before you know it, you're stuck between voting for a do-nothing that wears your interests as an accessory and a guy that wears the interests of your opposition as either an accessory or an entire suit.
These people hope you resign yourself to the "lesser of two evils mentality" because it's oftentimes the refuge of the unmotivated, which ensures they don't even have a vigorous primary challenge. Like, these people barely owe you anything because you're oftentimes not the one bankrolling their campaign expenses-- what are they going to owe you after they've secured their legislative seat? What are you going to do if they shit and do nothing, or even link arms with the opposition? Not vote for them? When it comes to the Senate, the stakes are always this high. Any party is barely getting by with a 51-seat majority, after all.
The best-but-riskiest option people have, after vigorously pushing a reliable candidate that embodies their interests, is outright withholding their vote, even if it's at the risk of letting the opposition win. Tell these people that your ballot is their meal ticket, and make them recognize that they will be left on residuals-- if they're lucky-- if they don't do their job and represent the people that are electing them to be their representatives, even if it means that the tower to communism/fascism gets one brick higher. All that means is that there wasn't anyone that was looking to represent them in the first place.
But you can't make that threat after you vote for them, and establish a pattern of voting for them no matter what they do (or don't do). It's like what's happening to the black voter bloc-- between the expansion of the Latino demographic vis-a-vis the black demographic's growth stagnation, the fact that the Latino vote is actually competitive compared to the black vote (in fact, it's foolish to lump all the Latino subgroups together), and the fact that the desires of these two voter blocs diverge and even come into conflict at times, the list of reasons why the Democratic party has to care at all about even signaling to the African-American community is shrinking.
If we did it in a way that made sense, we would also have Voter ID
Yes. Basically, its only SCOTUS now or elector revolt. There's no way they can complete multiple states in the timeframe. All they had to do was run the clock and since Trump started on the back foot and was primarily reactionary, it wasn't enough time. When you release a Kraken, you release it. You don't wait a month later. The timeframe is getting smaller. They barely have a week and some days left. Can realistically anything come of this or are they just flailing ? Shouldnt they have taken those actions WAY earlier ?
Wonder if there's a relation.
