The Wisconsin Supreme Court refuses to take up Trump’s election case.

The Wisconsin Supreme Court on Thursday rejected the Trump campaign’s lawsuit that aimed to invalidate more than 200,000 votes cast in two of the state’s Democratic bastions, closing off yet another legal avenue by which the outgoing president has tried to overturn the results of the general election.

The conservative court’s 4-to-3 vote to decline to take the case puts a stop to one part of a multipronged attempt by President Trump and his supporters to upend the legality of Wisconsin’s entire system of absentee voting, which the Trump campaign had sought to cast as violating state law.

The court’s majority of three liberal justices and one conservative justice wrote that the Wisconsin Supreme Court was not the proper venue for the Trump campaign’s lawsuit and suggested it refile in a lower state court.

Late Thursday the Trump campaign’s Wisconsin lawyer, James Troupis, filed new, separate, lawsuits in Dane County and Milwaukee County, aiming to invalidate votes in the two Democratic bastions covered by the case the Supreme Court declined to hear.

But Mr. Troupis and the Trump campaign are running short on time for any legal action to change the reality of President-elect Joseph R. Biden Jr.’s 20,000-vote victory in Wisconsin. The deadline to exhaust legal challenges to state certifications is Tuesday and the Electoral College is set to meet to formally vote to make Mr. Biden the next president on Dec. 14.

The Trump campaign late Wednesday filed a similar lawsuit in federal court in Milwaukee seeking to undo the result of the election entirely and have Wisconsin’s 10 Electoral College votes be determined by its Republican-controlled state legislature. Two other suits — one in the federal courts and another pending before the Wisconsin Supreme Court — are also seeking to challenge the state’s election.

Unlike their claims of electoral malfeasance elsewhere, the Trump campaign and its Republican allies in the state have not argued the presidential election in Wisconsin was marred by fraud.

“I’ve yet to see a credible claim of fraudulent activity during this election,” Dean Knudson, a Republican member of the Wisconsin Elections Commission, said during the body’s meeting on Tuesday. “The Trump campaign has not made any claims of fraud in this election. These are disputes in matters of law.”

Mr. Troupis, has for the last two weeks argued that the acceptance of in-person absentee ballots by municipal clerks before Election Day violated state law — even though local elections officials were doing so at the direction of the Wisconsin Elections Commission, a bipartisan body that oversees the state’s elections.

The Trump lawsuit also argued that municipal clerks should not have been allowed to complete address forms for witnesses to absentee ballots, which the elections commission gave them permission to do. State law requires absentee voters to have witnesses sign their ballot envelopes. It also asked the court to invalidate ballots that were collected by the Madison municipal clerk at October gatherings in city parks, though those events were also blessed by the elections commission.

The Trump campaign only challenged ballots in Milwaukee County and Dane County, which includes Madison, the state capital and home of the flagship University of Wisconsin campus. The two counties are the largest and most Democratic in the state.

The Trump campaign’s lawsuit, if it had been successful, would not necessarily have invalidated ballots cast through the manner it claims were illegal. It simply would have reduced the number of votes from the state’s two most Democratic counties without addressing ballots cast in an identical manner in the state’s other 70 counties.

except this time there is actual proof of voter fraud in the form of video evidence, witnesses coming out and dead people voting for Biden So, there’s that...
you forgot people don't care as long as the system goes back to same old broken way .
People only care about feeeling over facts. :gunt: :gunt:

Last week's bombshell evidence that amounted to nothing was a false alarm, but this time it's for real.

I mean it is on video... and then add in the fact that there was NO enthusiasm to get Joe into office throughout his whole campaign. Then all of the sudden he is ahead on votes? Then you dummies are celebrating his draconian measures on Corona virus like it’s the greatest thing in the world? I mean, everyone knows that COVID is not the killer the media makes it out to be with high survival rate that makes it comparable to the flu.

The plan from the Trump campaign was pretty straightforward:

  • Spend months building up that mail in ballots are full of fraud.
  • Spend the weeks before the election claiming we NEED to know who won the night of the election not days later.
  • Trumps campaign was hoping to hold Wisconsin or Michigan but they weren't that important at the end of the day and could be lost.
  • Launch an all out war against mail in ballots in Pennsylvania. Trump clearly won the vote the night of. Launch legal attacks from every angle to stop the counting. This is why they didn't want the votes counted before hand. Hold the count and declare victory in Pennsylvania and build a message that he is being cheated.
  • Declare victory the night of the election.
However...
  • AP and Fox News call Arizona which throws a huge wrench into the plan.
  • Then Georgia becomes a problem for Trump.
  • He still declared victory the night of but it makes him look foolish because so many states are outstanding. This isn't the 2000 election where it came down to one state and a few hundred votes.
  • He now needs to convince the Republicans that he was cheated out of not one but several states... and that he needs to challenge not hundreds but hundreds of thousands of votes to claim that they were cast fraudulently.

I love how people are expecting judicial processes to throw out millions of votes and disrupt the entire system just so they CAN look for evidence. Something other than hearsay and ignorant to the process testimony from drunken Karens and people who think they see ghosts in their basement on youtube.

Trump has been gaslighting his base since the 2016 election. That was fraud too, remember... until he won.

He's trying as hard as he can to steal the election. The fact that he's failing hilariously doesn't make that OK. If he weren't so incompetent he'd be stealing it as we speak.

Anyone have better quality of the video.

Everything is beyond blurry and I can't even make shit out.

I know I'm beyond late but the Taco hasn't posted since the election. This was his last tweet. Way to stay on the funny side.

What "all of a sudden"? People have been protesting against Trump for four solid years. People mobilized to vote Biden in order to get rid of Trump.
Then you dummies are celebrating his draconian measures on Corona virus like it’s the greatest thing in the world?
Ah, yes, the "draconian" measure of getting people to wear face masks. The U.S. has a sky-high COVID rate with hundreds of thousands of deaths; it turns out the Trump strategy of just kind of doing whatever isn't very effective at suppressing a pandemic.
I mean, everyone knows that COVID is not the killer the media makes it out to be with high survival rate that makes it comparable to the flu.
I don't think "everyone knows" that.

Imagine almost realizing that Trump was so despised, the tactic of "doing nothing is enough" worked.

Just because his campaign didn't try and wedge a few thousand people into a mob for the cameras and photo ops during a pandemic, doesn't mean enough people didn't go "Yeah, Biden is shit, but at least he's not this fucking clown..."

Even the straightforward plan kinda sucks ngl. Too much focus on fraud without actually accusing the Dems of fraud before the election swung in their favor. If you accuse them of fraud before after you're losing you look like a sore loser. Implying there will be and demanding to know the winner the night of the election was also a bad move as it just makes you look like you're trying to toss out mail-in ballots out of fear of losing rather than fraud. "Never interrupt your enemy when they're making a mistake."

Should've just accused them of fraud early then take the libel suite like a slap on the wrist but win the election or at least be in a position to take the Dems to court without looking like a sore loser if you lose.
Begging the Republicans, who don't already like Trump, to fight tooth and nail for him to be in office when they can just let Biden have his 8 years then put in a guy they actually want makes more sense than waiting an extra 4 years with a guy they barely tolerate. If that was plan B then he severely miscalculated... again.

LOL Biden didn't use either of these as a platform. But MAGA wants you to think he did.
So did the bernie add to his lead or was it MSM Orange man bad narrative or cornachan or lgbt (hate which lgbt were made richer )

I don't think "everyone knows" that.

those protesters didn’t want Biden in office. They wanted Bernie. That’s why Biden’s rallies had such a low turn out.

the US has a sky high COVID rate because of those protests. Notice all the hotspots are in states where they had those protests and they all had masks... uh oh, does that mean masks are as effective as the “experts“ tout them to be?

Everyone should know that because the numbers reflect it. The number of people infected is over 7 million and yet the death rate is like 250,000. What does that tell you?

actually every person I spoke with who voted for Biden votEd for him because at least he wasn’t Trump And none of them knew what his policies were. They just wanted Trump out of office.

All of the above. Literally anything was better than trump, if you weren't a nationalistic patriot. Yeah, Biden is absolute dog shit establishment, but at least he's not sperging on Twitter in all caps about random shit all day long.
