You're losing me a bit here. First you argued that precautions likes masks weren't effective, but now you're trying to link a rise in COVID infection to a protest where people probably weren't following recommended precautions.

Of course events like protests can spread COVID, but blaming the US's high COVID rate on Black Lives Matter (rather than, say, the federal government's failure to coordinate a strong and focused response) is silly.

i think the protests proved exactly why masks aren’t effective. Also these protestors weren’t standing six feet apart and constantly had physical contact with other people.

In fact, people all over the country have been wearing masks since March and the virus is still spreading in record numbers. It’s a little obvious that Biden’s 100 day mask mandate isn’t gonna do anything to stop Covid. All it’s doing is conditioning people to be afraid of each other.
