There's another issue: human pairbonding. Any time you add a third person to an intimate partnership, it places the partnership at risk. Societies that practiced polygamy were often lacking in equality, to the point that most Western democracies outlawed the practice. Anyone who's ever grown up in a harem or polygamous religious colony can tell you how chaotic and wracked with jealousy group marriage is. Most people in the human species are strongly inclined towards pair-bonding and are heterosexual. Ten percent at most have some kind of "non-binary" sexuality and they tend to gather in cities where their boost in concentration gives people the impression that they're a higher percentage of the population. MovieBob and Chris, as city=dwellers and members of the Liberal establishment, have a selection bias towards the "non-binary," but they can't just overturn thousands of years of cultural understanding and declare "non-binary sexes" an undisputed fact of science for all people, for all time. There have always been men who acted like women and women who acted like men, and some people who didn't care to differentiate, but the reasons for such things are widely varied and individualistic, and each person has to figure out what they are (hopefully with help from the medical establishment.)

As a kid enters puberty and reality creeps in, the dysphoric kids will become more bothered (maybe that's an understatement) about the development of the body parts they reject. Since they don't "consent" to this development (despite its otherwise inevitability), this is a very Galaxy Brain way of stating that without puberty blockers to block the development so they can start from an early save point (to borrow Video Game terminology) to begin to mold their bodies more easily into the shape they want them to be, it constitutes raep. They didn't want the usual natural development, but it's foisted upon them because some people somewhere think it's a bad idea to give extremely experimental and poorly-tested medications to children that will have in most cases irreversable effects. I mean, we all heard what happened to that Jazz kid and how there can never be a surgically created vag because the puberty blockers were taken far too early. Besides, maybe some kids don't care whether they ever spawn so being chemically castrated from age 9 won't bother them right away, and some might never change their mind, but what about those that do?

Some might go full Bob in the Soopeeryah Fyootcha and hope for womb transplants as part of "bottom surgery", but I don't think that's realistic anytime soon.

I don't know why anyone would hold Bob's reviews in any sort of regard. The quality of the movie is irrelevant to his reviews. All he cares about is having the right opinion for the right people so he can feel validated by them. Seems like he already makes his judgement on most movies before even seeing them.

Nearly everyone has their body go through natural developments they didn't want. It's called aging and getting old. People get bald, people get bad eye sight, people get bad knees, etc. It sucks but people don't call it rape.

Something people don't seem to realize is that puberty isn't just physical development, but MENTAL development as well.

Spoiler: puberty blockers and IQ

The findings of Wojniusz et al. (2016) can be compared with those of a 2001 study in which 25 children treated for early puberty with triptorelin acetate were tested with the short form Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (Mul et al., 2001). In this longitudinal study, children took the IQ test before treatment and again after 2 years of treatment. It was found that their IQ dropped 7 points from 100 to 93. With 25 treated participants, this 7 point drop was significant (p = 0.002). In both studies the difference in the performance element of the test was greater than in the verbal element. The similarities between the findings of these two studies strengthens their reliability and increases the possibility that GnRHa treatment may have an adverse impact on cognitive functioning in children.

I get that it's a small sample size but that doesn't change the fact that there is still a real lack of evidence to show it's safe (and most evidence we do have show real physical/mental detriments). Doctors warn against vaping because they won't know the long-term effects for decades, yet we're expected to believe they have something as extreme as puberty blockers all figured out?

Having balanced hormones is very important to mental well-being. For example having excess fat makes the male body excrete more estrogen. This can lead to some obese men becoming more emotionally and intellectually deficient. This remind you of a certain fat manchild movie critic with a Mario obsession? And don't get me wrong it's not as simple as "estrogen makes you stupid" or "all fat people are idiots". The body is very complex and the idea that you can stop such a massive developmental process as puberty and expect no ill effects is ludicrous. When you're an adult you're free to do whatever you want to yourself but this stuff being pushed on literal children is monstrous.

The other reviewers actually said thoughtful things about the movie. Bob did nothing but make fun of its name. At least he did an excellent job in demonstrating why his "rotten" rating means nothing. Actually, he did manage to tell potential viewers one useful thing about the movie, completely unintentionally: he did clearly manage to convey that you won't like this movie if you happen to be an idiot. So, good job Bob, I guess?

It's honestly not that far beneath his usual reviews, though. Have you ever once heard Bob talk about a movie in any remotely sophisticated way? Have you ever seen him talk about how a film's color balance conveys mood, or how the film's mise-en-scène conveys the director's vision? Because I haven't. This is why Bob will never be part of the professional circles he sucks up to: he's an ignorant rube whose college degree is just an official certificate from his adult babysitter saying that he showed up and didn't cause trouble for four years. And he can't even score good blow, or give a good blowjob. They have no use for him at all.

I don't know why anyone would hold Bob's reviews in any sort of regard. The quality of the movie is irrelevant to his reviews. He's fundamentally unsuited to be a movie reviewer because he absolutely does not care about the quality of a movie at all. He'll mindlessly hate a movie that offends his politics regardless of its quality. If he doesn't mindlessly hate a movie for political reasons, he'll mindlessly defend it if the "wrong" sort of people criticize it because of hatred and the fact that he considers himself a temporarily embarrassed movie director rather than one of the plebs in the actual audience. Even if he genuinely likes something, like that Godzilla movie, he does so in the most childlike, unsophisticated way, which has nothing to do with quality. Even if he genuinely realizes a movie is actual dogshit, he won't ever tell the audience. He's literally the worst professional movie reviewer I have ever seen.

The fact that he can't even make a competent video, with unlistenable audio, faulty green-screening, and so on, is just icing on the cake. But he would be a professional embarrassment even if he used a different format for his content.

The "review" posted sure gives the impression that he never watched it. Many autistic people have issues with paying attention to things they aren't interested in and it gets worse with age (and falling dopamine levels, due to decreased tetrahydrobiopterin, increased monoamine oxidase B, etc.). I can guarantee you that Twitter addict Robert was not paying attention at all.
