I could see him just staying off the Internet while there since his accounts haven't said anything exactly favorable to the CCP, but it doesn't really matter; whether it was a ruse from the beginning or it became that over time everyone knows the China trip was a cover for him leaving. Which is weird because it makes it feel like the split wasn't amicable and that something is being hidden still. Last time I checked Zidan is still active on Twitter, has anyone ever asked him about the "China trip" or why he left? Has he said anything since then?

My guess is that Zidan at some point could no longer handle Ralph's shit and agreed to just not talk about Ralph for money or there's blackmail involved, Ralph isn't exactly above turning on his friends (see the Rekieta thing).

I disagree. That is assuming that people believe Ralph when he accuses people of making things up. If he didn't have a history of questionable and scummy behaviour, I'd understand but this is Ethan Ralph we are talking about here and these accusations are in line with how we expect Ralph to behave.
