Cyberpunk 2077 Grieving Thread

To me it seems like only the basic framework of the game is on disc. I'm expecting the day 1 patch to fix a lot of this shit. Don't quite understand why everyone is saying it's the biggest disappointment.

Although, this might just be me Coping

I'm just used to the majority of triple A games being all clout bait with nothing to show for it.

I told you guys this game would be a buggy mess at launch. I dunno why anyone's shocked by this, Witcher 3 had a fuckton of bugs too. That said, I fully expect Cyberpunk 2077 to be a good game once all/most of the bugs are fixed.

Yea I had Witcher 3 at launch. I remember for like a week you could straight up ride roach up cliffs at like a 180 degree angle.

ok, i feel like im making tweets instead of posts now but whatever
whats the /v/erdict? glitches and bugs, also the game doenst look like real life so its a 0/10 and trannies trannies trannies
seriously, this is the hill you want to die on:
1. same was said about witcher 3 on release, turns out it wasnt true
2. new vegas was barely playable on release and it never looked good, still ends up being the best RPG for most people i know, same with VTMB
3. /pol/ ragebait is literally rehashed from a year ago, stop falling for old shit you could be laughing at resetera right now bout instead youre here

in conclusion
stop being pissy babies who cant handle a videogame being a videogame, stop falling for /pol/ bait, pirate the game if you want and have some fun for once in your miserable lives
also shoutout to null for stickeing tt so every easily impressionable kid hungry for stickers can join in on the fun, good one pal
Username checks out

I still think it looks like shit but why is this game in particular getting "not enough trannies 7/10" reviews? I read a bunch of Assassins Creed Valhalla and Watch Dogs Legion reviews and neither of those games had points taken off for not having enough hairy men in dresses.

Seems a bit unfair.
AC: Valhalla had the main character be a woman Viking, had people of all colors in mass frequency appear in 900AD England, and gave you gay sexy times. Of course twitter gave it "STUNNING AND BRAVE 11/10!" and moved on to something else.

Watch Dogs Legion gave you modern day London which is a shithole into and of itself and the 12 angry fuckwits on twitter hit far too close to home and they gave it a wide berth.

Is Like a Dragon really the best in the series? I got tired with Yakuza 0 because everytime I wanted to walk f@#@!? anywhere some Japanese pricks would run at me and make me engage with them. Maybe I was playing it wrong, idk. But I did enjoy the story for the most part.
It's the best one I've played, though if that ruined Yakuza 0 for you, I don't know if Like a Dragon would be your thing. Random battles are just as frequent but now turn-based, so they're a little slower and much more relaxed by their nature. If that's your thing, you'll like them. The cutscenes are also longer than past Yakuza games, but the story is rock solid. I'm the kind of person who bitches about overly long cutscenes, but this is one of the very, very few games where I haven't skipped any or just felt bored to tears.

hey guys
hey guys give me more reddit downarrows, i'm totally mad about them, you're totally winning

I played Witcher 3 at launch and don't remember it having 1/10th of the bugs I've seen in Cyberpunk 2077. Watching Carlos's stream yesterday, there was literally a glitch every 2 minutes. I'm talking Fallout 76 level of glitchiness

So CDPR crunched so hard they ran their real dev team off the plantation. Oh but don't worry gamers its only the evil SJW press that handwrings about crunch, it's not actually a big deal and there's no bad effects from it! It's not like crunch could end up gutting an entire studio or anything requiring them to fill it with the absolute dregs that got kicked out of Canada once they shit their pants internationally with Andromeda.

Absolute lol I'm in awe at how hard CDPR owned themselves like this.

I heard a majority of the dev team that made TW3 left over terrible pay and refusal to pay bonuses rather than crunch but yea the result is the same.

And that result is a shitty product.

Ok so there are troons and dildos everywhere and I can have awkward fps lesbian sex but not one review has said if the loot/gear is cool and building your character is satisfyingly which is like the most important part of an RPG.

Games Journalists should get the rope.
Nah, they would just complain too much. They should just be ignored and forced to get a real job.

Look at Last of us 2. They had insane crunch and had to find more people because of others quiting. And the company promoted Neil because he did so well openning week.

There was a theory I saw where he only got promoted because the ship is sinking and the other guy needs a scapegoat lol.

Long story short, CDPR refused to bend the knee enough to the game journalism clique and troons on Twitter. They want the game to fail because it's a major AAA game that is ignoring them.

The crunch argument was debunked by employees. The racism argument fell flat due to Mike Pondsmith. The only one that stuck was "CDPR hates troons", even after they added custom junk.
You get a job in the games industry as a developer knowing full well that "the crunch" is more or less industry standard as most projects near completion.

Your development team goes into a crunch cycle:
