The problem with those two fandoms is that one is full of edgelords because come on, Calli avatar is the most edgy thing that hololive has shitted on years, considering her personality she is like anime Marilyn Manson, Chumbuds in other hand attract those kind of people (remember that gura is still the tiniest of all hololive) so the autism is tenfold but she for some reason managed to make them behave by throwing some bones at them and they go like idiots for it (the Ame milk comes to mind)
Teamates are exactly what you believe they are when you see Watson, FPS dudebros backseaters horny fuckers but considering Watson is not so different and she roast them from time to time for being imbeciles they are made to each other, Ina sadly has the tendency that her cult attract the ever depressed twitter artists that need a safety plushie because everything give them anxiety attacks, the only thing that i approve of them is that they gatekeep harder than the others for some reason even when her fandom is the most accessible one (aka the normal artist that are not faggots keep the snowflakes at bay)
And then you get KFP that they are like /tg/, when they get their minds of it they get shit done and are the most normal of the bunch for some odd reason like today that they behaved not shitting in Youtube for nuking her channel
Calli's avatar attracted a lot of edgelords, and Calli herself kind of is one when she isn't being a massive dork. While it's hard to tell since we don't have access to her channel analytics, a sampling of the Discord crowd and the SC amounts would say that her audience skews the oldest simply because of how much money she gets thrown at her regularly from everyone. Most of her more vocal audience members are a bunch of millennials who are have more money than sense or just have way too much money in general; I've become acquainted with StormTAG and while I have no idea what he does for a living, he makes a ton of money doing something and is in his mid 30s. This lines up with a lot of her other big donors and audience members in general being people with established careers. She still attracts a fuckton of edgy teens but the people who tend to talk the most, or at least the ones I talk to, are all just people with soul draining day jobs who enjoy her and her music.
Gura's fans are very hard to pin down. If you were to believe Venti, you'd think they'd be a bunch of degenerate lolicons who want to fuck a fish. The chumbuds are less that and more spergy Senzawa fans who may or may not also be lolicons. More people know Gura from her days as a shitposter than her time as a hololive star and I believe that she has been the worst kept secret in all of HoloEN, with Karen being a very close second simply due to how many times she doxxed herself (2 self name drops and liking Calli art as Dice). Conversely, due to the sheer size of her audience and the average superchat amount (I don't see Gura having a lot of whales), it's safe to say her audience skews the youngest.
Ame's fans being just as toxic as she is makes sense, but she can dish out as much as she takes it so I'm in agreement with you there.
I still have no idea what to make of Ina's fanbase since most of them seem like they're just fine but I'll take your word for it that they're a bunch of unstable artists who are looking for a security blanket. It makes some amount of sense even though Ina herself has a pretty good head on her shoulders and doesn't really excude that energy at all. On that note, does anyone have any idea what her day job is? I'm tempted to say "commissions" but she does those gacha splashes and skin designs so infrequently that I have a hard time to believe that her change of pace job is basically the exact same as her normal job.
Kiara's fans are way too chaotic but at least they're all pretty nice. They're the best example of the audience bieng a mirror of the streamer; Kiara may exude a lot of energy but she is also incredibly driven and focused when she needs to be. Getting the talk show off the ground was a big thing for her and I'm proud she was able to do it, and she'll only get more comfortable with the format as time goes on. She's shown the most rapid growth in terms of being a streamer than the other ones; Calli has yet to find her stride, Ina found a niche and settled into it without really needing to grow, and both Gura and Ame already had established streaming etiquette prior and came into hololive already knowing what to do.
You guys are all making the huge mistake of reading the chat.
We're mostly talking about the fan communities that exist outside the streams.
Well yeah imagine watching your favorite anime girl play some random game while you spam "草" or "! ?" and then a gigantic fleet of westerners set sail for your lands to spam "

" and "mext mont im joining ur membership *insert name here*-chan"
Maybe Japanese chat is as bad as EN and I just don't know cause I don't speak moon runes, but the lack of emotes just makes it 50% less cancerous for me
From the bilingual people, it can be just as bad, just in a different way.
