I have bike riding friends that spend $2K to $4K on a carbon bicycle and ride 50-100 miles every weekend. I have friends that waste $40-$100 at a bar every weekend getting drunk. People spending money on their hobbies doesn't bother me.

What DOES bother me is DSP crying poor and begging for money all the time. If DSP didn't beg for money and constantly cry about how the detractors have ruined his life 24/7, I wouldn't give a shit about this thread. Hell, he could probably (and might as well should) stream Champions on Twitch and then he could probably legit honestly claim his pull money on DA TAXES.

It's also the magnitude of the addiction relative to his resources, though. The time investment wasn't something I knew about until this week and frankly that is way more horrifying than the money - and the money was already life-ruiningly pathetic.

Your boat friends aren't opening 15 credit cards, going bankrupt, continuing to spend every free cent they get on the boat, and spending 7 hours a day maintaining the boat. Even if they were doing that, they'd have a fucking boat and not a completely worthless and temporary JPG collection. Even if it was your drinking buddy friends and all of this was going to alcohol and literally being pissed away, they'd be racking up a lot of fun stories from sitting in a bar 7 hours a day.

The amount Phil has spent on sweaty men could have paid off a chunk of his current home, or if he really insisted, a sizeable down payment on a buy-to-rent property to generate passive income. The amount you can do with $40k in terms of investments is staggering. The guy could easily be on his way to retirement by 50 with the right investments on property, but no, gotta live in that moment, eh Philburt?

40k was the estimate at the beginning of the year. The updated consensus now (not including the equivalent of a full time job in hours he timesinks away) is 60k and even this may be too low. Based upon the trajectory the spending does seem to be accelerating.

With a fairly active Discord account during the time of his big first faction. All he had to do was go in voice-chat, or turn up a camera, or make a quick sign "I'm not DSP" and take a photo. Also of I recall correctly the WWE account is hard linked to your phone, you can't just create a new account. But that's just what I remember from hearsay. We all know that this only (conclusively) ends a handful of ways, most of which require some seriously gay ops.

1. Phil being put on the spot and being forced to open his phone and iPad etc to show he doesn't have the app, and if he does being forced to open the app and show his account. We all know that Dave would never do this on stream or if he did he would've pre-empted it by deleting it off his phone or finding reason to go off camera so he could. The only way for this to happen is for him to be doorstopped and that runs the risk of Jasper kitty attacking whoever went with the axe (we all know that Phil couldn't lift it anymore). Also that would be one of the best situations ever for Phil, he would milk it for the rest of his life for pity

2. Someone managed to get access and look through every single account statement of his and find the hard evidence in the statement -

4. Getting into his google play account which should have his payment records.

5. The most likely and the only reasonable end to it, he just slips up and gives it away to a level he can't attempt to refute.

Obviously, I'm just stating the ways I see it ending, not requesting or endorsing them and we all know Phil would just focus on the actions of the detractors in cases 1-4 and never address the undeniable truth of his addiction. For number 5 he would just come up with a hand-wavey excuse and talk about doing what he wants with his money and never really address it.
