Autism incoming - I loved the original trilogy, and was even OK with the ending of number 3. Andromeda had a decent enough core gameplay loop, let down by everything that wasn't the bouncing around and shooting stuff bit. The scripting, cutscene animation and voice acting was utterly cringeworthy, though.
Well, that looks like Liara in the teaser, so it's a convenient way of sidestepping Mass Effect becoming a variant of Endless Space with the whole 'rebuilding after it all disintegrated' schtick, what with the whole thousand-year-lifespan thing. I imagine there'll be nods to the Andromeda Initiative, given that recordings of her were part of the (and I use this term loosely) worldbuilding for ME:A, but I'm hoping they'll make vague references and get on with something less failure-laden.
I'd be lying if I said I was entirely hopeful though.
I'll certainly never pre-order a Bioware game again though: I was one of the idiots that did so for Andromeda, and holy fuck did that sting.
My interest is more in the remaster of the original trilogy - if they ported it from the UE3 to the UE5 engine, then hopefully they could tweak the gameplay jankery of the first one into something a bit less, well, broken while preserving the lore and overall shape of things. I have zero faith that they'll do much about the ending of 3, but TBH I'm not super cut up about that - it's part of it now, just as "I'm Cmdr Shepard, and this is my favourite store on the Citadel" is. I do find myself hoping that they take some inspiration from some of the fan mods for improvements to the trilogy remaster, though - the weaponised spergery that went into giving Tali a face was not only hilarious, but actually made some kind of canonical sense, since Quarians are supposed to be nice to look at, instead of weird purple blobs behind a visor.
I'm at least morbidly curious in this seeing as how it looks like it will be returning to the Milky Way in some form. Wonder if they're finally going to address 3's ending in any way.
Apparently a Bioware guy is hinting that it'll be a continuation of both ME3 and Andromeda.
All I can say is that I'm so goddamn sick of Liara-Fucking-T'soni. She is not one player's favorite character and this forced meme of trying to make her the iconic, recognizable aspect of the time the games were successful goes like a lead balloon for me.
Bad enough that she was forced into your shit from the beginning of ME3. She's milquetoast.
I thought Andromeda as a story concept had promise and it set up a lot of things that could be made good with effort. Looks like Bioware might be ditching that shit and instead going for the reset approach, Or hell Liara could have taken a ship to Andromeda in the meantime after Shep died or something and they're just going to work that in.
Trailer looks all sparkly. Not exactly blowing my mind though.
Anyone paying money for post-ME3 Bioware content gets what they deserve. I expect a hamfisted, overly woke, relationship simulator with nonsensical quests, vague worldbuilding, and frequent use of words like 'Crucible', 'Archon', 'Makers', and 'Citadel'.
Maybe they'll flip the script and the magic McGuffin will be called the 'Pejorative' or somesuch.
Seeing those portal relays broken... They use the perfect ending (only reachable with that free DLC or spending time in the multiplayer). In that the reapers are destroyed but Shepard survive with a large deep breath near the end of the cgi
I'm sure they gonna fucked up again, and i don't fucking care.

I really hated how much some developer thought his blue waifu was so important she's pretty much the default love interest. I wouldn't be surprised if they make Liara's daughter be on your team and she's Shepard's daughter too just to cement that fact like George Lucas insisting Han shot second. Ashley, Miranda, Jack are all better. Mass Effect 3 really suffered for how much the ME2 characters weren't allowed to join in. Miranda is harder to kill in ME2's Suicide Run than Garrus or Tali but they got to show up again.

Jack has an interesting story arc, but they didn't do jack shit (haha) with it during ME3, she shows up during the Grissom academy as a teacher IIRC. Which is sort of 'meh' for me in terms of where her character would go. I assumed she'd start some sort of biotic merc unit or something.
