Trashy white people view Florida as a place to get smashed and blackout for days. Well, either that or as the place where Disneyworld is. But those are it. Sure, he could drive an hour to the panther reserve (if it's open right now) and try and see some awesome animals. Or go to the northern part of the Everglades off of Alligator Alley and film alligators. But Florida's just where you go to get blackout and do embarrassing things, so what's the point?
