Cyberpunk 2077 Grieving Thread

Are there any longer side quests with plot like TW3 had? All the one's I've found so far are MMO bullshit. Ie go to x location and kill x target or collect x trinket.
It seems like it's mostly as a cyberpunk session would be IRL, in terms of getting missions to kill/extract. I just go around hearing about cunts and then killing them in shootouts, feels pretty good.

The city is so big in the tabletop that you can just murder someone on the way to your mission like nothing, or go on a gang killing spree, and rarely have major consequence beyond that gang disliking you.

2077 doesn't really have the 'convince/talk' part one usually expects in VRPG.
It's like you have a DM who's only insistent on keeping you on a certain path in the main story, with everything else being laissez-faire taking on of small jobs as you wish, engaging them how you wish too (sniper, hacking, etc), but with the only care being you complete the objective.

Yeah and America represents the whole wide world /sneed
Globally people described as primarily console users are 8% of all gamers.

So I've finished the game today, boy the main the story was fucking shit. Chungus Keanu wholesome 100% voice acting was terrible, and I was more interested in the Panam Nomad group story than the main one. I remember reading an journo saying when they first played it, they only had access to 3 endings. They when they replayed it, they had 6 endings. I don't if I'm just good but I had access to all the endings, so I could pick any ending I wanted. It kinda kills replays if you can get all the endings that easy, I wasn't even hyped about this game but it still feels disappointing.

I just want Dante :(
There are five endings, as far as I can tell.

Panam/Rogue/Judy sidequests are pretty damn long. Then there's the Delamain one.

Sorry I'm a little retarded. Yeah surely switching out assets like that would require more processing power, so it's not even an optimization... I have no idea what they were thinking

Also who the hell okay'd this?

This is borderline Hunt Down The Freeman tier voice acting
What the fucks wrong with her face? It looks extremely puckered.

I've run into two.

>Talking car one I talked about earlier. Most end up being got to X location but there is a followup quest that I haven't got to yet.
>Cybersycho quest chain. Go to X fight X but it seems to have a plot.

God, this thread moves so fast I just won't bother trying to keep up with it anymore. So, game needs mods for... just about everything, TBH, but that said its better than Bethesda stuff is (not saying much, I know). However, the thing that really tweaks me is how they handled Sandevistan. Its a 15 second time slow, cooldown drops significantly with upgraded versions but... you have to swap out your cyberdeck to get Sandevistan, which is about as useful as a wizard swapping out his spellbook of damage spells and debuffs for Haste since you lose access to all of the neat shit you can get up to with quick hacks and breaches. Breach from a distance to install some daemons, then slam a mob with Contagion and watch them feel the pain. Of course, you also need a cyberdeck to disable cameras and blind people with the Reset Optics daemon, so you're also fucking over stealth play if you go for the Speedware. You're also forced to pick and choose between Smart and Power for your hand, which seems like an especially dumb thing given it should all be handled by the targeting mod in your optics since your hand is just data transfer between you and the gun.

I think CDPR plan is to work on the next gen upgrades for Xbox Series X/S and PS5, and not do anything with PS4 or Xbox One. Since those are going away they won't bother.

The city just opened up for me and I have to say the place is fucking beautiful. Im in Westbrook just walking around and I am constantly being blown away with the level of detail, verticality and lived in quality of the world.

I don't know how anybody can say this doesn't feel like cyberpunk, tbh. Im getting neuromancer vibes big time, it feels like as close a visual representation to Ninsei that has existed so far in media and my imagination is running wild.

Just got done with the memorial to Jackie and it felt like a solid emotional little quest wrapping up the more personal effects of the prologue. I get that its more action adventure than RPG but I am finding myself liking this game more and more, even with random T posing NPCs and shit. Just what I expected; janky but fun and pretty easy to get lost in.

The arm cybernetics are weird. The monowire’s aoe tends to catch gas tanks and fuck you over, the removal of the hacking things they could do ko makes me like them less, the UI element that’s supposed to indicate their charge mechanic is too dark, and I think said mechanic might be bugged. The mantis blades didn’t retract when I unequiped them for a gun so my game glitched out. The grenade launcher seems like it could be lulzy depending on what grenades you can put in it and if any of them have smart targeting. The gorilla arms charge the melee strong attack based on how many light attacks you can land, which is kinda boring, but seem like it’s at least provide some utility if you didn’t in est in body. Anyone found one among those they like best? Wish they were more fleshed out upgrades considering they’re the ones that stood out most in prerelease. The cyberdecks and time slowing implants seem like better investments.

I tried everything to kill him, grenades too. You can not kill these fucks at all.
There´s gonna be a mod for that, soon.
It´s just like TLOU2 where you can´t shoot at any jewish items/symbols at all solely because the devs don´t want you to play their game the way you want.

Did the devs ever had the foresight to make an ending where you´re too much cybernetic and end up going psycho?

I don't know much about voice acting and I think often people are exaggerating when they say the voice acting in certain games is bad. But today I listened Keanu's "voice acting" in english for the first time and holy shit is he bad at this. It's like he is falling asleep any moment. His voice is liveless and boring. It sounds so much better in other languages.

Sorry Keanu, your voice acting isn't breathtaking, it's garbage.

He found out when and what his pay was the day he went into the booth. You'd sound depressed too if your $10,000 payday wasn't going to be for 8 years.
