It's hard enough getting shit done when one party controls Congress and the White House, it's even harder during a divided government.

You say that now. You say that not much is going to change, but that's probably because they know that forcing too much change at once will cause people to reject and revolt. If people are eased into it, there's a chance that they'll either accept it or be in a place to be unable to do anything once they're directly affected. The only really good thing I can see about Trump losing once and for all (whether it be now, once Congress approves the votes, on Biden's inauguration day, whatever) is that perhaps we can head back to a pre-2015 world when politics weren't as big of an issue as it is now. Biden supporters overall don't seem as cult-like as Trump's folks (after all, most only voted for Biden because "Well at least he's not Trump"), and almost all but the most loyal of Trump's supporters are slowly accepting his loss. I know, some crazy tards like AOC have a whole list to try to deplatform Trump supporters, but I doubt it'll really have the backing of Biden and much of the Democrat establishment, especially following Biden's whole thing about "healing the nation". The actual far leftists will be pissed, but maybe things can actually be normal.

I know, some crazy tards like AOC have a whole list to try to deplatform Trump supporters, but I doubt it'll really have the backing of Biden and much of the Democrat establishment, especially following Biden's whole thing about "healing the nation". I'm just worried that we're going to see leftists be emboldened by Trump's defeat and work to make sure he and his movement are brought to justice by any means necessary, up to and including reeducation camps and public executions for the more uppity ones like Alex Jones. Once more pet projects are pursued, things will get even more liberal, and the uber progressive types might be pissed that the progressive utopia isn't coming about fast enough. Not to mention, China isn't getting any more content with their place in the world. They want to extend their influence all over, and only Trump knew the danger the CCP posed while everyone was stuck in the Cold War.

The genie is out of the lamp and there's no putting him back. The only way for liberals to go is all in on the progressive utopia, especially since Biden is only there to flush out everything Trump did and Kamala Harris seems the type of person to dance with the progressive types like BLM and harness their progressive talking points in a way to make it digestible to the general public, as well as point out the types to keep the progressive train going. Honestly, AOC's big thing that may keep her from getting further up the latter is that she's a loose cannon and she talks about things like lists too early for people to accept it.

My guess: she'll be down with BLM because BLM offers too much progressive brownie points and good PR for Democrats to pass up. If anything, we may not see things like BLACK LIVES MATTER painted on city streets because big displays like that can only happen when you have a very large amount of support, and the detractors and Trump supporters and anti Trump people haven't been purged yet. There's too many roadblocks.
