Seeing the collab of puyo puyo i noticed, that octopus was holding back, you see i follow another tetris sperg (Wumbotize) or if you watch Suisei streams you will notice that normal competent Tetris players always left a single hole to nail chains, Calli and Ina never did that (mostly because they were in Puyo mode) but the octopus always did this even she made "mistakes" on purpose (throw a piece while talking where it was not supposed to go)

Do you mean "Calli and Kiara"? "Octopus" would generally refer to Ina in this case. And I do agree because I noticed Ina seriously sandbagging near the end of the stream.

Keeping a right well open is the standard affair for competitive Tetris play as well. Something about the fact that it's just not optimal and can actually be a measured, input-based detriment when the game speed picks up to near hard drops and requires split second placement if you try to maintain a well anywhere else. Hell, she set up for a couple of back-to-back Tetris a couple of times as well before promptly sabotaging her own well/going for unnecessary burns.

Yknow i don't know shit about any of the Vshojo gang but if nothing else im curious as to how Zentreya makes that robotic text to speech voice thing work. Do they type out some sentences in a program first? That would require a lot of pausing to type wouldn't it? Or does their natural voice get converted into that robotic voice in real time somehow?

He's come into the chat of random streams I've participated in. It's probably coincidence but it's always when a trans vtuber is involved, but he mostly just sends a message or two. He does seem fairly plugged in so I would assume he watches most debuts that gain traction and the vshoujo peop

I'm half-considering joining the ratking as an inside man of sorts; more than likely the dude has a public-facing Discord I can lurk in if I really wanted to. As pointed out by Jaeger, he's basically running a racket at this point and positioning himself to be THE go-to guy for any small ENVtuber related shenanigans; I think it all started with him dropping like 500 bucks to ask Fubuki to be his wife and that's how he got his name out. I know Domo's game enough to see it is basically just social manipulation and, having joined the indie vtuber community myself, I can tell you for a fact the reason he's so successful isn't because he's good at what he's doing, it's because most newbie or pre-debut vtubers are incredibly young and insecure so they flock to him like flies on shit. They're all pleasant people but going through their accounts to find the ones with a good head on their shoulders to make nice with is like searching for a needle in a haystack. Most of them are in their early 20s or late teens by the cadence of their posts and don't really know they're being taken advantage of or that their social connections are gonna bite them in the ass...and even established ones with major companies fall for this trap, too. Kiara may be emotional but she's been around long enough to not let it get the best of her and judging by some of the stuff I've seen, Calli is the youngest or close to the youngest of the Hololive EN girls; she's bar none the most naive. I'm not sure on the ages of the other ones but Keekihime at least 27 if she went to Japan 10 years ago at age 18, and we know Karen's's real birthday. Much as I love Karen, she definitely has somewhat of a dumb blonde mindset when it comes to online social interaction and may be a bit too nice for her own good.

Thing is, by joining the ratking, even as an informant, I'd be joining the ratking. He more than likely wants little to do with someone like me because I'm a guy. Then again, Valefor and I think Hazard Hornet are part of that group so I really don't know. Either way, we have plenty of chuubas here in case anyone wants to deep dive into Domo's community.

I think he actually has a program that translates his spoken word as text to speech. It's not too difficult to get hold of a voice filter; I use one for my chuuba persona but that's because the character I play isn't supposed to be human. In his case, it's to hide the fact that he's obviously a guy.

Also, 3-4 chuubas isn’t enough for me to call it plenty, that’d be 10+. Being a kiwi and a chuuba is already a rare combination. I say if you do decide to do it, wait a week or even longer for this chain of comments to fade out of memory first. Wouldn’t want to alert him if any of his group lurk here, after all.

So, they go after low-hanging fruit and Domo is going for these young kids with low self-esteem who want to be Vtubers.

Kings of the Nerds hate competent and confident males in the territories they invade and work to passive-aggressively isolate them immediately. That's because any competent males are a direct threat to the facade. They prefer those males whom they can cow into submission or fawning types who see them as gurus and role models.

EDIT: What is really dangerous is when Kings of the Nerds cooperate. They can coordinate to create clear status hierarchies and "in-group" cliques at the top of the pecking-order. Basically, they recreate the high school social scene on a large scale. The good thing is, they're usually too narcissistic to be willing to work with rivals and share the spotlight. On those rare occasions when they do work together, it can be horrifying to watch entire communities just turn into these festering, incestuous social pyramid-schemes. If the Anime Man and Domo ever do discover one-another and start to coordinate... yikes. For now, Joey seems a lot bigger and probably won't notice Domo himself for a while.

I know fuck-all about Bunny_GIF, maybe there was some agreement for Vshojo she didn't want to agree to. If she's not a hornyposter, maybe she didn't want to be a part of this advertised and hyped up shitstorm.

She's not a hornyposter and sometimes you can tell she gets embarrassed by the sheer degeneracy of the others but it still looks almost like a high school drama situation because she went from collabing with the others on a regular basis to maybe once every other week or so. I've noticed similar trends with some others that were around a few months ago such as Mira Pink, who used to hang out a lot with Silvervale. And I have no idea who tf "Hime" is or anything about them yet so that should be interesting to see if we get a full mean girls clique.

Its disheartening to hear Gura clearly drunk on stream. I always thought Senzawa's shtick was nothing but a meme, but with the canceled streams and drunk live streaming..seems like she really may have an alcohol problem.

Its a shame too, she seemed like she was doing much better. I wonder if it has to do with someone doxing her family recently? Harassment could certainly lead someone down that road.

From my experience? Don't let him enter in the first place. An ounce of prevention being worth a pound of cure kind of stuff.

Once he's entered the group, if it is IRL, he'll be the dominant figure in a matter of days. Getting him out then is difficult. The thing is, he dupes everyone around him into thinking he's cool and the person to be around. Any confident, competent males in the scene have really two options.

The first is to say, "fuck it, this social scene is lost," and go off and do something else/hang out with other people/make new friends/etc. Eventually, it'll self-destruct once the King of the Nerds has slept with a couple of the girls and tried to build a harem but the fallout is permanent and that community is basically toast for several years and most of the former members hold grudges.

The second option is to basically convince the "lowest class" of group members that they're better off without him and try to red-pill them on what kind of person he really is. Then lead an exodus of sorts. It's a shitty move and cringe as fuck but basically, you split off and form a "rival" group. At least, that's how the King will view it. And expect these people to have a hard time getting over it and being all upset that the King ruined their fun. These are also people who have a hard time thinking for themselves so you are now, by default, the new group's King, even if you don't want to be. Yes, this drama does get this retarded. Then you sit back, do your thing as usual, gatekeep future Domo-types out, and hope the original group realizes what a douche-nozzle he is after he's slept with a few of the girls and the girl-drama nukes that scene. You'll absorb some of the refugees from the first group that has now self-destructed. By now, the Domo-type guy will have moved on with his life anyway. He got what he wanted.

How does this apply to Domo? Fuck if I know. I've no idea how to do this shit on social media. Besides, I've done both option 1 and option 2 numerous times IRL and discovered option 2 is almost never worth the effort it takes.

A Domo thread may be worth it just to track all of the hilarity that comes from the growth, development, and eventual collapse of his rat kingdom.
