I think Melinda is ignoring me ever since I became a Judge in the House of Israel.
It's been a really busy year. I've got some opium coming soon. I don't indulge often, it's more of a celebratory thing for me. Couple times a year. You know what opium is? It's just dried poppy pod sap. That's it. You grow a papaver somniferum poppy (or a field of them), you scratch the sides of the large seed pod after the petals all fall off and the top turns brown/tan, a milky latex/sap oozes out. You scoop the milky sap off with something like a spoon, let it dry out. It turns reddish-brown. Opium, there you go. Most natural of remedies. Ancient Sumerians called it "God's own medicine."
We've been doing it that way for millennia, but I created a shortcut. Chop off the ripe pods and throw them in a blender, add distilled water, blend it a bit (not too much or it'll take a really long time to filter) filter the mush and dehydrate the liquid that was filtered out. Much faster. Or you can just drink a little bit of the liquid before it dries out. Once dried, you end up with like a thick "fruit roll-up" peel of opium. Save and dry out the mush too, put it in a jar and use it to make tea for whenever you have the shits. It'll fix it right up.
You can use sap from the rest of the plant but the alkaloid concentration is highest in the pod.
I think a bit of opium might help you, Melinda. Grow yourself some poppies, not at your home but off in the woods somewhere. You can just buy poppy seed as the spice and sprinkle it around. Stop taking things so seriously all the time.

We all know it can't be a female detective, as they are someone from her religious community.
