But that's my point— there's a disproportionate amount of Anti-A&Hers in the LLATSF thread, and after a while it started to feel like a lazy hugbox where people would just link anti-Trump posts for buttpats. Sure, there were a couple of people pointing that out for a bit, but the bias felt no different from the PM we're discussing now, y'know? It's better to bring the conflict into the open where people can really air the drama out for everybody instead of only showing it to their gossiping housewife friends.

Yeah, that's my point.. I'm just making the point that this is very deliberate and that all these guys are absolutely recording conversations. The policy is only that they 'don't record' so that they can lie about anything you say. So get a lawyer, don't talk to them, or if you're absolutely insane then at least record the conversation without them knowing and be extremely cagey.

Best plan is to always demand any questions be via an attorney with any LEO.
That way if you at some point have a Federal agent try to say otherwise, you can point at police reports of things like standard traffic stops 'suspect refused to answer questions without a lawyer'.

There's a bit of a difference there, but it's not an unreasonable policy (certainly for anything except being stopped for speeding).
