The jury’s still out whether his childhood molestation claims are even true.
Well I hope it's true.

"They prefer to see a pitch and an example of writing"
That explains why you never conclude a story arc.
I do like the one moment he preached to people about wagies before going back to preaching about masks. I guess if you're never going to have an actual kid to pimp your politics, the next best is a cartoon kid.

Here's the Labelle work featured in the article. I got curious and gave it a read.

The article's a pretty damn good read if you have an extension that translates pages into English. She goes into how gender stereotypes have groomed feminine men and masculine women into being trans, and honestly, I agree with her. All these trannies describe how "they were playing with Barbies and nail polish instead of monster trucks and dirt, so they were totally women u guise," when in reality that's just them being feminine men. The transgender movement has done more to reinforce gender stereotypes than all of western civilization within the last few decades. :(

I read that article and a couple others of hers. It's a good blog, definitely has gender critical feminist views. Lots of plain speak vs the word salad we're use to from the TRAs.

I think they are, for the simple reason that he tries to play it off as an actual romantic relationship in which he was totally in charge. I don’t think he’d miss the opportunity to play it up for asspats if the whole thing was fake.

Labelle also preaches against gender stereotypes. Of course, in this case, the two positions might not be mutually exclusive.

1. “Your boy can play with dolls if he wants!”

2. “You played with dolls? Maybe you’re actually trans! And by ‘maybe,’ I mean ‘you’re not allowed to come to any other conclusion!’”

3. “Maybe we can chat about gender issues! No need to tell your parents, they wouldn’t understand!”

It absolutely has. Knowing that there are people out there who understand this, and are publishing articles about it, gives me :optimistic: in this clown world.

Yeah it doesn't make any sense and none of them will give a answer, trans people with gender dysphoria I can understand but if you're like Labelle and don't have gender dysphoria what does it even mean to have feminine thoughts, interests or anything like that? It seems like it'd just come down to cliches and identifying as a woman is more of a lifestyle choice for them than anything else.

No one calls cops "gendarmes" in Québec besides Europeans I guess.
there's a whole thing about how some in Quebec have been using words that are basically the english words while speaking French, and how some of the more militant francophones are absolutely opposed to that and autistically insist on using the 'proper' French words instead. Which would be toothless hilarious foolishness if some of these francospergs weren't in positions of power.

The worst thing about TERFs is that they're undeniably awful people, but it's also legitimately difficult not to side with them when they seem to be the only people interested in protecting women and children from Jessica Yanivs, Tommy Tooters and Sophie LaBelles.

Sorry to go a bit off topic but I think there is a place in this world for legitimate transgender people with body dysphoria (REE) and people who are comfortable with their sex/gender but who do not conform to gender stereotypes. I wish I knew the answer to where both could be in harmony with one another but I believe it's quite abstract and personal. I am definitely in the minority of libs who frequent the farms and I'm also generally pro trans so take this as you will. However, I do accept that the numbers of trans people around right now is abnormally high and that gender non conforming people, gay kids, those with learning difficulties and people with EDs have easily fallen into the trap that is "im not normal therefore i must be trans".

A bit off topic, but ... this joke song gives you a good idea of Quebecois and also solidifies your take that nobody calls them gendarmes.

French Sperging:
Every time I read his French-language stuff, I am put off by how unnatural he sounds. He sounds like a person who is French as a second language. Then I remember he is just a performative weirdo and probably sees all these weird over-formal and overwrought language quirks as something that makes him seem even moreee intellectual and quirky, kind of like how in English many people just use big stupid words and ways of speaking that nobody ever uses in real life. They think it makes them sound smart but it just makes them seem ... off.

Fucking Stephie speaking for the disabled. Can’t she see that she’s talking to someone born without a skull?
